Located on the first floor, Dark Arts is one of the mandatory classes for the first few years at Durmstrang.

Alchemy is an advanced class for only the smartest of pupils. It is not to be taken lightly.

The Astronomy classroom is located on the fifth floor. There is an area on the ceiling that can open up with a lever and a platform from the ground of the classroom that rises so they are able to look at the sky through their telescopes. On rainy or snowy days, they do textbook work.
