The Atrium is a large, architecturally magnificent, room that leaves many in awe the first time they see it. From it, there are three hallways leading to the first floor classrooms, trophy room and a corridor leading to the courtyard.

Located on the first floor are the Staff Lounge, Trophy Room and classrooms for Charms, History of Magic, Potions and Transfiguration.

The classrooms for Healing, Magical Creatures Studies and International Affairs are located on the second floor.

The Library, Dormitories for all the years and Dueling Arena are located on the third floor.

The Hospital Wing as well as classrooms for Defense Against the Dark Arts, Dueling and Wandless Magic are located on the fourth floor.

On the fifth floor are classrooms for Alchemy, Astronomy and Dark Arts.

The East Tower is fairly narrow from the outside, but magic is used to extend the area in the inside, especially for the three classes held there, all on their own floor around the spiraling staircase in the middle. Each classroom therefore is in the shape of a donut: Music, Muggle Studies and Ancient Runes. At the very top is the Owlery.

Outside of the school are many areas like the Courtyard, Garden, The Docks, Forest, Quidditch Stadium and separate buildings for the Dining Hall and Herbology classes.
