our overriding plot
We are an AU Post-Deathly Hallows roleplay. We are AU about the plot, but are strictly canon when it comes to the Harry Potter world (laws of magic, beings, classes, etc.). Our plot and time move along quicker than real time so that you can really see your character grow.
The plot is simple: the best plot of all - the books. However, it is with one variable that can change the outcome of everything (plot wise): original characters. What would it be like if you threw original characters into the books? Well, that's what we're finding out. Maybe Harry falls for someone else or someone else gets petrified by the Basilisk. It's all up to all the members. Changes are only acceptable in the present, though [no secret love children from the past or changing histories from things that have already happened on site]. Some differences have already started occurring, though, in our little experiment. How will you affect the present or even change the future?

current plot
After years of various wars that should never have happened, the unexplained firings of the purebloods from the Ministry in 2011, and finally the wizarding plague that was kept a secret from the public for years while the Ministry rushed for a cure (administered in 2013), people have had enough.
A grassroots organizations named the Unbelievers quickly rose after the wizarding plague was released at the same time as the cure. Only 1.8% of the population died from it (only about 80 in the UK), but how it was handled was not okay. The Unbelievers purpose was to expose the truth in their own newspaper when the Ministry made the rest of the media go hush.
Later, they evolved to not just having lost faith in the government, but gained faith that they - and the people - could create their own world which was better than the corrupt one that the Ministry ruled over. They set their roots in Edinburgh and became their own city state, separating from the Ministry. They set up their own clinic and hidden wizarding shopping centre (like Diagon Alley). They also changed their name to Liberamach.
Of course, the Ministry didn't like that, and a battle ensued in 2017. Their leader, Five Kerr, was killed. Naturally, the Ministry has branded them as insurgents and have denied any responsibility for the fate of Five. Because of this, Liberamach's numbers grew exponentially almost overnight. They have many people now and neighbouring towns are even requesting to be brought under their umbrella rather than stay with the corrupt Ministry.
Now in 2019, they have three towns and are growing. Liberamach never wanted to war with the Ministry. They just wanted to be allowed to do their own thing in peace. But it seems it's a war that the Ministry wants. Duels have turned into skirmishes have turned into war. And this time, no one will be able to stand in the sidelines. You're either in the Ministry's realm or you're against them.
