To say that he remembered the badger in front of him right off the bat would be lying. Something definitely tugged in his brain because he did look familiar - especially now that Noa was really staring at him. It wasn't until he spoke that it clicked - the familiar lilt of words, and a shared dorm. How funny, they shared a dorm for some time and Noa still didn't recognize him right off the bat.
"Hudson! I mean, Dorian right?" Noa sounded a little bit unsure, he could be wrong. He hoped he wasn't as that would be a testament to how terrible of a friend he was - he couldn't even remember a boy he had roomed with for two years. He slipped into the compartment, tugging his trunk with him as he threw it up top. He grinned as he turned back, "Aren't you a sight for sore eyes. Been a while yeah?" A mild understatement.

It took a bit, but Noa got there. What a relief. Dorian didn't think he was that forgettable. "Yeah, yeah, you got it," he said with a slight chuckle.
"Yeah, it has been." Dorian thought back to how he was when he was twelve. He supposed he hadn't changed all that much. But he definitely went through a lot of stuff in the past couple of years and did some growing up. He surely didn't care about girls as much back then. "Did you transfer or something? You missed all the fun of people getting petrified left and right last year."
Dorian didn't think of himself too much of a gossip, but everyone was talking about it. Everyone knew. Noa was bound to find out anyway. He was just glad that he never got petrified. And at the beginning, everyone was talking about it being targeted at Muggleborns, so he had been a little nervous about it.
Oh thank goodness. He got the name right. That made him feel less awkward - not that he was ever really that awkward with the wizard in front of him. If he got the wrong dude, then yeah, pretty awkward. Lucky, his memory served him well. It helped, Noa supposed, that well, they were only just a little older, and hadn't changed that much.
"A transfer would have been a better excuse, but nah. Just stuff." Noa shrugged, then added, "You remember how I'm pants at herbology right? Well, I ate something wonky, and that messed me up for a bit. And then, had an accident at some glass bridge in China when we were vacationing. Fell off it." Well, his parents would say he dived off it, but really, it was a trip, and then a flail down. "They thought I was suicidal and didn't feel confident in my abilities to be away from home."

Leda had been running after her cat. Some days he was more cat like and others he was more kneazle like. Today was a cat day and he was on the prowl. So she was running after him. He ran into a compartment, which meant she was going to run into it.
The fact that Leda almost barreled into someone else on her way into said compartment meant nothing to her. Instead she flashed a smile with ease. "I love your hair." And she poked her head around the girl and spotted the offender. "Hi! I'm Leda and that's Dumpling." She stated gesturing to the orange menace.

She let him take her bag from her, watched as he adjusted her bag on the shelf and thought how glad she was that she had shrunk her books. Her mother had shown her how to do it, it made her bag feel lighter to carry and she responded back. "Thanks, so much." Lee Ji-Hyun said with a smile. She looked at her owl, saw he was asleep now and looked back at the guy in the compartment with her. He was looking at her now, listening to him say what his name was and his last name sounded familiar to her. "It's nice to meet you Darien, my name is Lee Ji-Hyun." She said, as she held out her hand. "Oh really, that's cool. How are you going to Hogwarts now?" Lee Ji-Hyun said, she likes meeting new people.
She can hear the people outside the train and the students talking away, she has to admit that she is excited about starting her sixth year at Hogwarts.

and I every day that I get older, bow your head like I'm royal

Beatrix had bid her parents farewell and boarded the train from London. She had found herself an empty compartment and settled in. She and her family were not ones for overt emotional displays so there had been no tears, only an obligatory hug.
She got out a book, figuring she might use some of her alone time to read. She doubted it would last long though since she was not delusional enough to think she would be lucky enough to have a compartment to herself for the whole trip.
It was Love's final year at Hogwarts and he was not sure how he felt. On on the one hand, he was excited but on the other, quite a lot of things had happened over the years. Ben, Lewis, students being petrified and all sorts of whacky things. He had hoped to have had a long term boyfriend by now. Instead he had experienced whatever that whole thing with Ben and Lewis had been. Though he couldn't lie, it had been thrilling to be the center of two boys who wanted him.
Well, whatever. This year he would focus on Quidditch and moving on from all that. He would try to anyway. He walked through the corridor and ended up at the back of the train. Lucky for him though because his friend was in one of the back compartments. "Roxaaaaane," he greeted, drawing out her name with a grin as he put his trunk up. "How was your summer?"
There was no real recognition, it seemed, of his surname and Darien hid a sigh of relief. It meant that he could just be "Darien" and not "Viktor Krum's son". If he's honest, it's not bad being his parents' son, just sometimes annoying when it came to making friends of his own. Were people talking to him because he was him, or were try they trying to get in his good graces for his parents. It was always a guessing game. When people didn't know him, the easier it was.
"Our family moved the UK recently. Original, we lived in Bulgaria, where my dad's parents are. Mum's parents are in the UK, and finally after years, they decided to move here." It was a nice change really. One that Darien didn't mind. "And It's nice to meet you Ji-hyun."
The train seemed to be moving, and for a moment, Darien watched the window as it pulled out of the station, waving once more when he saw his family from the window - the crowd that bustled around them seemed to have dispersed, probably to see off their own kids. Turning to the girl sitting with him, he asked, "What year are you?" Durmstrang was not a school that had that. It was very much a "What year are you" situation, and no houses or anything he's heard other schools had.

Dustin had settled into a compartment, figuring any of his friends who took the train would eventually find him. If not, there was no rule that said he couldn't make some new friends. There was always room in his life for more friends. He rummaged through his book bag for something to do in the meantime though he didn't really feel like reading.

Holly arrived at Platform 9 3/4 with her parents and younger sister Melody to go back to Hogwarts, she still couldn't believe it. They both hugged their parents goodbye, then headed towards the train and stepped right on. Not too far on the train, her sister found some of her friends and went to sit with them. She walked past their compartment, looked for a place to sit and hopefully meet someone new.
She sees one girl sitting by herself, she looks like she is a first year and thought she would see if she would like some company. "Mind if I join you?" Holly asked the girl.
Eva made her way through the corridors as she sought out the prefect compartment. She was excited to have been picked and her family was very proud of her. She hoped to do the badge proud. She did like to think she was a good student that did not cause too much trouble. And she always did her best in classes especially when the professor was hot.

She sat down on the seat, still looking at him and she realized why his last name sounded familiar. She listened to him answer her question, figured it must have been hard for him to move somewhere else and knew how she would feel if she had to move. "Oh ok, were you upset to have to move and leave your friends?" Lee Ji-Hyun said, putting one leg over the other and leaning back. She smiled when he said it was nice to meet her also, hoped they could become friends and wondered what house he was in.
It felt like the train was starting to move, looks out the window and saw they were starting to pull out of the station. They are on their way to Hogwarts, and she looks to see if she can find her parents and she can't find them. Thought she could send them an owl, after she gets settled at school and let them know she got to Hogwarts safely. She turned back to Darien, when he asked her something and answered back. "I am in my sixth year now. What about you?" Lee Ji-Hyun said.

She was absolutely going to hex her brother the moment they got to Hogsmeade. Absolutely going to throw the nastiest hex she could think of into his stupid laughing face. The girl wrinkled her nose, tugging at her robes as she walked through the train. No wonder he was so chipper that morning, and no wonder he encouraged her to change into her school robes early. "'I want to see how you look, my arse.'" Sol muttered to herself, her voice pitching into a high-sounding mockery of her brother's exact words an hour ago. She should have known the moment he asked.
She had come out of her room, fixing her tie, and he had beamed at her, clearly pleased. There had been a part of Sol who had preened under the attention, because it was rare they had moments like these. It was short lived because he promptly had grabbed her arm, and apparated them away from their home. Sol absolutely jabbed her wand into his knee the moment the world stopped spinning. Nox, the bastard, took it in stride and gestured to the bright red train that was the Hogwarts Express. He also promptly told her that she was to get on the train, and ride it, all the way to Hogwarts. And he was not taking "no" for an answer.
Which, brought her to her current situation. Arguing with Equinox Ahn was an absolutely lost cause, he was just as stubborn as Sol was herself. So she had gritted her teeth, clenched her jaw, jabbed her brother again in the gut, and stormed onto the train. He waved, and in a very siblings arguing move, Sol flipped him the bird, and made her way in, hopefully to find an empty cabin somewhere. She didn't search very long, and after finding a empty one, she slid the door open and sat down, grumpy. At least he didn't bring her trunk. She would have tried to throw it in his face.
