- Leda wants to love her parents. But she doesn't even have memories of her mother at this point. She doesn't have letters from them.
+ Leda's grandparents are her rocks. She adores both of them and would do anything to help them out
Relationship with Siblings:
- While she has no siblings, Leda loves her cousin Odette like a sister. She adores the little baby and would do anything for her.
OPINION
blast-ended skrewts - they get a bad rep! Leda's family doesn't really have them around the farm, but she loves them. She always enjoys working with them.
the ministry - there's too much oversight. Leda isn't really sure why they need to know what animals are on the farm or what's going on there, but it's just a bunch of boring paperwork.
care of magical creatures - leda hates that this is a class for 3rd years and above. She should be allowed to take it now! she's been around animals all her life. why can't she just start now?
blood purism - this isn't something she's understood. In her mind, this is why she doesn't have her mom in her life. The world needs all kinds of people. Why bully about blood? It's not like it's something people can help!
quidditch - leda is curious about it. she is glad they don't use snitches any more. but she wants to be in the air more. she hasn't been on a broom before, but she's excited to try.
the sorting hat - does it get lonely? it seems nice. maybe it needs a friend! she's tried to break in to see it and talk to it, but they won't let her
PENSIEVE
2015 - Leda is left with her grandparents as her parents decide parenting is too hard. She is instead with the two people who love her the most.
2021 - Odette is born and Leda is excited for her cousin. Her aunt lives with her and her grandparents. The farm needs all hands on deck and she adores it.
2022 - There is a muggleborn festival. While the Swansons are not muggleborns and Leda is not old enough to go to Hogwarts, her family farm is contracted to help bring some animals in to help introduce them to some of the easier animals like Knealzes, Diricawl, and other more tameable creatures. When it all falls apart, Leda ends up getting injured but not severely. Her grandparents talk about moving her to another area for a different school.
June 2026 - There were talks about a basilisk at Hogwarts. This is what ended up bringing her back to Hogwarts. Her grandparents couldn't resist the idea of more magical creatures. There could be anything out there if the school was hiding a whole basilisk!
September 2026 - Leda goes to Hogwarts and is sorted into Slytherin. This is a big surprise, but everyone still loves her.
ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE
Originally Wes had a whole plan for the cat party. But then everyone had other plans and it was going horribly. He wasn't sure what he wanted to do or what he was really thinking about it all. Claud wasn't feeling really social and he respected her, so she agreed to babysit Chip one on one, as Chip also wasn't a social creature. With that being done, he had time to shuffle things around, clean up, and set up for the party.
Not stressing about reaching out to check on Chip, the last of the cat friendly treats were out on the table and both of the party girls were dressed carefully in their new outfits with bows. There was a photobooth and props. From the party last month, he'd really stepped his game up. But he needed to do more from here.
Rice mewed and was up on his shoulder before he could stop her. Now all they needed were the guests. Two guests for two special cats.
