Personal Aspirations: Make Sol's the few years greatcomplete with throwing his sister onto the Hogwarts Express despite the fact that they live in Hogsmeade. Decide what he really wants to do in life. Fixing the Express is interesting, but not a career. Like if he really wants to settle with Magizoology, then he could just stop working on the Express, and start taking his classes full time. He hasn't gotten too far since he started the program.

Relationship with Parents:
Loves his dad. When his parents separated, he went with his dad while Sol stayed with his mum - Nox thinks it's because his parents came to a decision that since they had two kids, they could both take one and have an "heir" in the event that they never got married again. His dad's stayed "single" since, but Nox politely doesn't mention his dad's gentleman callers when he speaks to his sister.
When it comes to his mum, Nox loves her, don't get him wrong. He loves her, but he's also just...distant. Part of it is because she didn't watch him grow up after he was 7, and the other part is, she feels a little bit like a stranger. Nox is polite, if not distant with her. It's gotten better after he graduated though and had more time to visit.
Relationship with Siblings:
He loves his little sister. Sure she's a brat, and expects him to have her back for everything, but he wouldn't trade her for the world. Especially now since she upped and left Auckland to come to the UK to live with him, and go to Hogwarts. She was not happy he didn't mention that the schooling system was different and that she was going to be placed with kids younger than her. She yelled at him when she found out and in return, Nox happily stuck her on the Hogwarts Express to well, Hogwarts.
OPINION
Blood Purism
He doesn't always agree to everything the purebloods preach, but he agrees that there are things that should just be kept to the wizarding community. There are also things like pureblood family traditions (if there are any) that don't need to have outsiders mucking it up. He doesn't think that it's necessary to only marry purebloods to "strengthen" magic, because diversity is good in a bloodline. Keeps you from getting weird shit down the line.
Quidditch
Oh he loves the game. Played a during his school years, There's nothing like being on a broom, and just darting and flying through the air. He usually played chaser, but he made a fair beater sometimes. His sister would say he had the arm strength to smash the bludger into people.
Care of Magical Creatures
Honestly, it was a class that he took just to fill in an elective. He didn't have much hope for it in a way, and well, it just took off for him so to speak. He loves Care of Magical Creatures, enjoyed taking it his entire time at school. It's what eventually made him go into magizoology - though getting the diploma has been slow as he's been working also, if only because studying the entire time would tire him out.
Muggles
HIs interactions with them have been mostly positive, he supposes. He's never had an issue when he was out and about in the muggle world. He doesn't like them still, perhaps it's a culture difference, and they're just "okay". He needs to interact with them more to fomulate a better opinion.
HIppogriffs
Beautiful creatures. He loves how majestic they can be, and they're fantastic creatures to well, be around and see. Protective, and fierce. You treat one correctly, and it'll be a good experience.

Early Years
Nox honestly has grown up in the UK for his entire life. He had his mum and dad for his early years and well, it was fantastic. He was allowed to be as carefree as he wanted to, and he honestly got whatever he wanted. He never really had to lift a finger for anything, though he would remember that when he was about 5 or 6, there was some tension between his parents, and he could never place why. He just thought it was because his mum was pregnant and the baby was on the way.
Pureblood Marriage Decree of 2008-2011
This decree, Nox vagely remembers it. What he really remembers is that his parents argued a lot over it and to this date, he doesn't know why. He doesn't ask his dad, and his mum, in the rare moments when he went to Auckland, looked both grumpy and sad when he brought it up. He can infer though and makes the assumption that his father likely fell out of love with his mum - in favor of a gentleman coworker, Nox thinks. (Ironically, that didn't last too long after his parents divorced and well, his dad is still single - has a number of gentleman callers and all but still single.)
After his parents divorced, Nox didnt' really get to hang out with his new baby sister all that much. It was something that he's honestly a little upset over - as he didn't get to see her pick fights or help her with homework or whatever when she was younger. Sure they hung out in the summers, but still, it's not the same as having each other during their childhood.
Hogwarts
When he's 11, he attends Hogwarts like many other magical kids before him. He's sorted into Slytherin, to the surprise of his father, as he wouldn't describe Nox as someone who fit the typical Slytherin profile. He would grow into it though, harboring a love of dark arts, magical creatures, and he was no stranger to getting people to do his dirty work (though those moments were rare). He wouldn't say he's cruel like other Slytherins could be, but he was proud of his blood and it showed.
Muggleborn Festival of 2022
Nothing really against muggleborns, Nox had some friends who were muggleborn, but to hold a festival was honestly an odd, and laughable thought to Nox. Not that he didn't think muggleborns needed something like that - as he said, he knew some brilliant muggleborns - but it was just a bad idea in general. Nox and his father attended, albeit briefly, just to observe, and Nox could say it was trouble waiting to happen. All those muggle borns, some muggles, and all.
He was not surpriesd at the next day's news.
Sol Moving to the UK
So, after he had graduated from Hogwarts, there was never a year (or a day actually) where his sister didn't send him letters to try to plead with their mum about her moving out to the UK to live with him, as Sol had moved out of his father's place shortly after he graduated. Their attempts would be thwarted for a good few years until recently. As someone who had no real idea what he had plans to do with his life (even at 24, and all his father's attempts to help him out), Nox takes up the open Hogwarts Express Engineer position sometimes in 2026, after contacting Hogwarts about it.
It would be someting to do after all. Shortly after moving into Hogsmeade, he would also sign up to be a student part time at Rutherford, though his classes have been slow going so far.

Oh thank goodness. He got the name right. That made him feel less awkward - not that he was ever really that awkward with the wizard in front of him. If he got the wrong dude, then yeah, pretty awkward. Lucky, his memory served him well. It helped, Noa supposed, that well, they were only just a little older, and hadn't changed that much.
"A transfer would have been a better excuse, but nah. Just stuff." Noa shrugged, then added, "You remember how I'm pants at herbology right? Well, I ate something wonky, and that messed me up for a bit. And then, had an accident at some glass bridge in China when we were vacationing. Fell off it." Well, his parents would say he dived off it, but really, it was a trip, and then a flail down. "They thought I was suicidal and didn't feel confident in my abilities to be away from home."
