MINISTRY COVER-UP - GOYLE ESCAPED AZKABAN
Written by SulphurThe Ministry of Magic is once again hiding the truth from the people of the Wizarding community. Our sources have discovered that a dangerous criminal, Gregory Goyle, escaped from Azkaban prison back in September, right under the Ministry’s nose. This information was subsequently covered up and hidden from the public, however we at the Daily Citizen feel you have the right to know for your own safety.
Goyle was a known co-conspirator of Giovanna Nero who was arrested back in 2024 for breaking into the Department of Mysteries. The Ministry since claimed that nothing had been taken from the department, or from the Ministry of Magic as a whole, yet no reasoning for the break-in was ever provided.
It would be remiss not to wonder if Nero had some involvement in the escape, considering her involvement in the Ministry break-in. However, this is not the first time there has been an escape from Azkaban, causing this reporter to wonder if this is just the start of another wave of breakouts. While the dementors have proven to be good detractors for criminals, they have not always been the most reliable of jailers, their allegiances easily won by those who should have been within their care. Perhaps it is time for the Ministry to consider alternate ways of guarding the imprisoned dark wizards, to avoid the risk of further escaped convicts.
At the time of publication, Goyle is still at large, and the Ministry of Magic has yet to issue a comment on the matter. The Daily Citizen urges caution, as Goyle is a dangerous fugitive. Stay vigilant, and stay safe.
