Having the prefect badge pinned to his lapel of his Ravenclaw robe provided him some leniency in terms of staying up way beyond the curfew time allocated to them and in the Dueling Tower of all areas. The new first years seemed to be highly interested in this part of the castle despite it being explained that it was out of bounds whenever there was no Professor present. Of course, being prefect had it's advantages. One of them being posted to patrol this area.

He knew that the junior years were about to attend Astronomy class tonight so he needed to be sharp with his eyesight if he was to catch someone off guard. Tonight, he chose to walk in darkness as he twirled his wand in his fingers taking a break only to lean up against a wall, take a seat or just admire the view from the distance.

Levi was far too familiar with this place also being the the Dueling Club Leader. He was starting to understand the little crooks and crannies that came with this tower. A decision that was brought on after consideration of what Maeve had suggested. It would also look good on his profile once he graduated from Hogwarts.

He took a break from his dazzling display of wand twirling to actually pace around the dueling stages themselves. He knew at this stage he was alone. He did however, take one more look around him before he cracked his neck as he took a first grasp on his wand. "Salvio hexia!" He called out as he waved his wand around him in a swiping motion seeing a grey smoke screen in front of him which lasted for only a few seconds. His Defensive magic and protective magic could use some work and why not now when he was supposably alone.
