- Has lived at the orphanage since he was 5 and thinks of Hestia as his mother. He has never told her, but he sabotaged two potential adoptions because he didn’t want to leave.
-  He loses things easily. One minute he has his books and the next they’re gone. He once tried to convince the orphanage staff that he wasn't losing his things, but that pixies were stealing them. For some reason they didn't believe him.
- He likes sports and climbing, and is always getting into things places he shouldn't.

Aspirations: Why are adults always asking about the future? I just want to finish school without getting kicked out. Though, being an auror or a professional quidditch player might be kind of fun.

Thoughts on Blood Purism: Wizards really care about that? Blood is blood… except for blood types. You know, ABC.. wait that doesn’t sound right. A..B… whatever, you know what I mean. The alphabet blood. Other than that, I’m not sure what the big deal is.

Thoughts on the Government: They make rules and stuff. I know Ms. Burke didn’t like it and we were sort of hiding for a while… but now she’s like part of one or… something. That means the Scottish one is good, right?

Were they going to blow smoke around the classroom? Was that safe? Breathing in smoke sounded unpleasant, and probably very bad for her lungs.

She’d much rather light something on fire than use her wand like an electric fan.

Trying to look at the positives, Insuk made a mental list of ways the charm could be used. Fumus Purgarus was used by rescue workers all over the magical world. She’d seen it used a total of one time. Her dad used it on a camping trip when their campfire had been more smoke than fire. She remembered thinking how silly it was for him to use magic when they’d had a fan in the tent that could have done the same thing. She still felt that way… but unless someone threatened to burn her science books, she would never ever say that out loud. Not with Professor Channing in hearing distance.
