WRACKSPURTS INVASION
In the recent months, Muggle societies in several of the world's largest countries have been experiencing economic difficulties and suffering from civil unrest. The most noteworthy of these countries include the USA, India, Mexico, Russia and China. Although the non-magical folk find adorably naive ways of explaining these troubles - poor political decisions being the chief suspected reason - they are not quite correct. The true cause of these hardships is a massive Wrackspurt infestation.Wrackspurts, invisible magical creatures that enter people's brains and cause confusion, seem to have evolved over the years. They are now capable of feeding on their hosts' feelings of pride, false righteousness and self-importance, which has caused a sharp increase in the population of this deceptive pest. Although some wizards and witches may consider this problem irrelevant, since it mostly affects Muggles at the time, this view is quite unwise. Our world could very soon succumb to the same affliction, if we are not careful.
The magic governments should work on ways of solving this issue before it gets out of hand. Unspeakables must be tasked with finding methods of detecting and exterminating Wrackspurts. In the meanwhile, we advise our readers to ward off these creatures by remaining humble, avoiding ideological conflict with one another and refraining from attempts to impose personal moral views on others. Let us not become arrogant, and the Wrackspurts will find no sustenance in our community.
