SCOTTISH REFERENDUM
Scotland has concluded their first ever vote for Prime Witch or Wizard. The contenders were Hermione Granger-Weasley, a witch with considerable experience in government and with quite a reputation, and Salvatore da Costa, a newcomer who is an architect and helped win Scotland their independence. Hermione Granger-Weasley won with 65% votes, which seemed rather low yet gained her the majority. She is already busy planning what she will push for Scotland and has informed the public that building and solidifying their government and laws are the top priority. "It is a lot of work but I know that we can do this together," she stated during her first press conference.
It looks like we have a lot to look forward to, though there are those that oppose her election since now the leaders of Scotland and Hogwarts are both muggleborns. Moreover, both Scotland and England are also led by Weasleys. We hope Granger can overcome any pushback and lead Scotland well. The last thing we want is another war tearing us apart again.
