Eliza's personality has changed greatly throughout the years, but she is still the same person, overall. Eliza used to be quite shy around a lot of people, though, but she did eventually grow out of that. For a time, some people questioned why she was even a Gryffindor, but she wasn't the only Gryffindor of her year who took some time to bloom into their true self. Her friend Neville was the same way when they were younger, but Neville and Eliza both turned into quite brave people. Neville did in his own way and so did Eliza, but in the end, they both proved to be great Gryffindors.
Some things haven't changed for Eliza, though, like how overly polite she usually is. That has died down in the past few years, though, just like a lot of things about her have. Well, with such drastic events, it's hard not to change one's personality.
Overall, Eliza stands up for what she believes in and she tries her best to do whatever she can for her friends and family. Even though she has lost touch with her family quite a bit compared to when she was little, she would still protect them if anything bad ever happened to them. But for now, she's glad that they're safe.

history ;
Eliza was born into a muggle family and never had any brothers or sisters. Her parents didn't spoil her, though, and taught her all the right things, like how to be polite and how to treat others. She only ever got what she needed and then a little extra around her birthday and Christmas, but that was it. Her parents weren't poor, but they weren't extremely wealthy either, so she learned the value of money quite quickly.
A few months before Eliza's eleventh birthday, something strange started to happen around her. Well, strange things happened around her -- or so she and her parents thought. But in reality, it was only Eliza showing her first signs of magic. If she had been born into a wizarding family, this would have been normal, but it made her family quite uneasy about the strange circumstances that started to happen.
A month or so after Eliza turned eleven, however, they received a letter from Hogwarts. It was quite strange to be receiving something like that, but they read it over. Not long after that, someone from Hogwarts came to talk to Eliza and her parents. Everything was explained to them properly and the choice was given to Eliza. She could have very well remained living a muggle life, but the secret world of Hogwarts and whatever else was hidden from her intrigued her too much. She just had to go.
Her parents understood easily enough and allowed her to go, since it was her choice. They didn't quite want her to go, exactly, but it was only the fact that they would miss her, not the fact that she was doing magic. They were very proud of her with whatever she was doing and just hoped that she would be happy at her new school.
So on September the first, Eliza left her muggle life behind and boarded the Hogwarts Express. She felt so alone and the fact that she was shy didn't quite help very much. But when she arrived there, she quickly made some friends. She shared a room with Hermione, Lavender and Parvati and she grew quite close to them.
One of the first nights she spent in the common room, she befriended George and Lavender and then later met Harry. Eliza didn't quite understand what everyone was going on about with him, though she did hear the stories. Eliza just didn't see what the big deal was, though. She could still remember one time when she was in the Library with Harry, Cho, Hermione and a couple of others. That had been a fun time, when they were all so young, trying to learn magic, but Professor Snape had wandered over, telling them that they were being too loud. Of course, though, Madame Pince was the one who always knew when students were being too loud and she hadn't even gone over to shush them, but it was Snape and he disliked them all.
The next year, Eliza made a new best friend: Ginny Weasley. Overall, her main friends were Harry, Hermione, Ginny and Neville -- she didn't know why she never got along with Ron very well -- throughout Hogwarts. It wasn't exactly that she didn't like Ron, but if they were ever in a room together alone, there was nothing to talk about. Eliza supposed that they just missed that extra connection she had with others, but at least they did get along.
That year, Eliza joined Quidditch with Harry [who had already been on the team for 2 years] and had quite a lot of fun. Eliza wasn't the greatest Quidditch player out there, but she still did her part and had fun doing it.
While Harry went off on adventures with Hermione and Ron, Eliza mainly stayed out of it. Sometimes he told her about what had happened, but most of the time, she was left out. She didn't even really know about Sirius until a couple of years after their third year, which was a little hurtful, but she understood why Harry hadn't told her at the time. Even though she knew that she would have understood and been on his side, how could Harry really know that? There were a lot of people who couldn't be trusted with information like that and even though Eliza was quite trustworthy, Harry couldn't know that for a true fact.
It wasn't until Eliza's fourth year when she finally started to come out of her shell. It was during the Triwizard Tournament and she was in the Library, minding her own business. Only a few moments after Giovanna Nero knocked Eliza's books off the table, Draco Malfoy came along. Eliza thought that him and Giovanna were together, but she didn't want to say anything about that. However, Draco just had to take the opportunity to tease Eliza. It was always about something stupid, but it was always about something. Finally, though, with the help of Fleur and Amanda, Eliza stood up to Draco for the first time. After that moment in the Library, she found that she had more confidence when it came to standing up for herself and she wasn't as afraid to speak her mind. Of course, it took a while for her to really have confidence against people like Draco Malfoy, but that moment in the Library was a great first step.
Also that year was the Yule Ball, which Eliza took part in. Quite randomly, Michael Corner asked her to the dance and she wasn't even sure why, but she did go with him. It was pretty fun, but after that, he didn't talk to her for quite a long time. Eliza had liked him a little bit and probably would have grown to like him more, but she quickly made herself forget him, so she would stop thinking that anything could amount to their only date at the Yule Ball.
The next year, Eliza started to make friends with quite a few more people. She was still friends with Harry and that group, but things started to change for her. Well, it started to change for everyone. The news got out of You-Know-Who's return and of course Eliza believed Harry, but not a lot of people did. It even split up some of their friends, but at least a few of them stuck by Harry. But in the process, everything turned black and white. Eliza didn't want to think like that, though. The difference between Gryffindors and Slytherins grew even stronger and there was hostility between all of them. And on top of it all, Dolores Umbridge arrived at Hogwarts, throwing it into chaos. With her Inquisitorial Squad and all her crazy educational decrees, everything got quite complicated.
That year, at the first Hogsmeade trip of the season, Eliza, Hermione, Harry and a bunch of their other friends went to the Hog's Head and formed a little group called the D.A. {or Dumbledore's Army -- suggested by Ginny Weasley}. Eliza had a hand in trying to convince Harry to run it and she was glad that she did. It was a success -- for a time. Of course, Umbridge found it out, but that was bound to happen.
Also during that year, Eliza started to talk to other people more often -- people who weren't quite in her friend group [the group of Gryffindors]. She started talking to Blaise more especially [who had helped her with her Arithmancy quite kindly the year before in the Library]. They started a friendship that seemed quite random and yet so comforting. It was odd how they really did see eye to eye on a lot of things. Blaise wasn't the kind of Slytherin who hated all Gryffindors like Draco or Pansy. Well, Eliza didn't think that anyone was like Pansy [except perhaps Millicent]. But Blaise was somehow different. Eliza would learn later that Daphne had the same views as him on the house grudges as well as the difference between muggleborns and pure-bloods, but at this time, all she knew was that Blaise was different and that he was a good friend.
At the end of the year, Harry left Eliza behind again and went to the Ministry of Magic. Eliza almost wished that she could have gone with him, but she knew that she probably wouldn't have been much help. Even though she had done pretty good during the D.A. meetings, she knew that she wouldn't have been able to handle fighting a bunch of Death Eaters [who were quite a lot more experienced and powerful than she was]. She would have just gotten in the way.
The next year was the same as ever, but it was quite good with the absense of Umbridge. Pansy teased Eliza just as much about liking Neville [even though she didn't like him like that at all], Quidditch was just as fun [with Harry as captain] and Eliza's friendship with Blaise grew. But with everything else, it seemed that their hormones were increasing, which wasn't good when they had to concentrate on studying and what was going on outside the walls of Hogwarts. But that year, there was a Masquerade dance. It was quite interesting because no one knew who they were really dancing with. Eliza ended up talking with Ron, which was quite odd, since they usually never did, but she would never know that the face behind the mask belonged to him.
During one of the Hogsmeade trips, Eliza went on her first real date with Blaise. They had met up quite a few times around Hogwarts [quite randomly, too], but this was the first time they really went out somewhere. It wasn't until then that Eliza realized that Blaise was actually quite wealthy. It didn't really matter to her, though, but it was quite interesting to realize that after all that time. She supposed that it could have been easily missed, though, with how everything was at Hogwarts. Unless one gloated about how much money they had, it wasn't as noticeable because they were all just students studying at the same school, wearing almost the same robes. Eliza would have thought that it would have mattered that Blaise had a lot of money, but in the end, it didn't. He was still the same Blaise to her.
At the end of the year, the Death Eaters infiltrated Hogwarts. It was Eliza's first real time having to defend herself and she didn't quite do the best job at it. She didn't end up with any real injuries, though, which she was glad of, but Blaise and Hestia didn't end up doing too well. Blaise was attacked by Fenrir, which made Eliza worry quite a lot for him. It even made her wonder how she truly felt about him, but those were complicated thoughts that didn't matter when there were a lot of her friends who were hurt from the attack. It took Eliza quite a while to realize who they had lost that day: Albus Dumbledore. It was the most shocking and upsetting thing that Hogwarts had probably ever been through [in Eliza's opinion, at least] and two students even left with the Death Eaters: Draco Malfoy and Giovanna Nero. There was no surprise there, although Eliza knew that they were no longer together. But she could see them both joining the Death Eaters easily.
The next year was quite weird and seemed very empty. Eliza spent most of her time with Blaise, since Harry and Hermione had gone off to do whatever Dumbledore wanted them to do. Harry refused to tell Eliza, which was quite sad, but she was fine with it as she understood that Harry would have wanted to do what Dumbledore had said. That year had been uneventful in a lot of ways, but it was also quite strange. Eliza started to become friends with a younger Slytherin, Sire Blood. Her second time in the Forbidden Forest was with her [Eliza's first time had been with Blaise], and at the end of that meeting, Lare Blood showed up [Sire's older brother]. At that time, Sire was actually pretty good and didn't want to conform to her family's ways, but later on, Lare would change her. But during this meeting, Lare showed them both his Dark Mark -- a very bad move on his part. Oddly enough, he ran back to Hogwarts while Sire and Eliza were left to walk back to the school on their own. As they emerged from the trees, Roger Davies {an old friend of Eliza's, but would no longer be} arrested her for being a muggleborn. With a quick glance to Sire [telling her to inform Blaise of this], Eliza was hauled off to the Ministry of Magic.
She went under interrogation by Rufus and Roger [who really just stood there watching]. Not before long, though, Blaise and Harry barged in, rescuing her. Roger was stunned and Blaise told Eliza to run out with Harry. Of course, neither looked like themselves, but eventually they started to and Eliza knew which one was Harry to follow. As she was leaving the room, she heard the Killing Curse and a large thud, but she couldn't go back to see which one had been hit. Eliza wanted nothing more than to see if Blaise was okay, but Harry wouldn't allow it, so Eliza was forced to leave the Ministry without ever knowing if Blaise was dead or alive.
After they escaped the Ministry, Eliza was forced into hiding. She stayed with the Weasleys sometimes and sometimes other Order members. It was now the summer after her seventh year and even though Eliza had missed her exams and her N.E.W.T.'s [for which she would complete at a later date], school was now over for her. Eliza joined the Order of the Phoenix along with some of her other friends.
After a couple of months, Eliza was finally able to go and see Blaise [but it was hard getting there without being noticed] and she had dreaded knocking on the door only to know that he wasn't there because he wasn't alive for quite a long time, but when she did knock on his front door, he answered it quite soon. It was then that Eliza realized that she had to be with him in some way. Whether it was just friendship or something more, Eliza knew that Blaise had to be a part of her life. There were some friends she lost touch with after leaving Hogwarts, but she knew that Blaise could never be one of them.
Along with her Gryffindor friends who joined the Order, Blaise also joined. However, he also joined the Death Eaters, working as a spy for the Order. Eliza always worried about him, but she knew that he was capeable of looking after himself. She even got some inside information from him, like the fact that Sire was a Death Eater or about Lare's death. There was also a death of a young Hufflepuff around the same time. Eliza had known her slightly, but not very well, but she still felt bad about her death. It had been at Hogwarts and Eliza knew that even though she was done school, the drama and dangers at Hogwarts never ended.
Whenever Eliza was in public with Blaise, she always had to act like they barely knew each other -- like they had been friends at Hogwarts and nothing more. Of course, there really wasn't anything more, but the feelings Eliza felt were something to her and it was hard to keep them hidden from everyone else. However, Eliza knew that she had no other choice and that if the Death Eaters suspected something was going on, they would either kill Blaise, Eliza, or the both of them. It was much better to just see how things played out, so with only two dates between them [the second, going to France], they decided to play it cool for a while until things died down.
The next year, Harry decided to tell Eliza about the Horcruxes, after getting quite frustrated for over a year, not being able to find many with Hermione. Eliza and Harry started discussing them, thinking about what they would have been, when Eliza told Harry of something she had seen during her summer break after her sixth year at Hogwarts. She had gone vacationing with her parents that summer to an island that was quite remote. She had run into Aberforth Dumbledore there, who told her of this object that was quite powerful and needed to be very well protected. Eliza told Harry all about her run in with Aberforth and what he had told her and they decided that it was worth a try to go and find the object. It took quite some time, but they eventually arrived at the island [which was also very hard to find] and destroyed the Horcrux. Eliza finally felt like she had been useful to Harry as a friend and she was quite glad that he had finally been able to trust her with something important. It was then that she knew that they truly were good friends.
After that, Harry went journeying by himself again and Eliza was still in hiding. It was so awful not being able to even talk to her parents or most of her friends, but she knew that she had no other choice. It was for their protection and her's. The rest of that year proved to be quite boring, but Blaise decided to do something about it. They figured out that if they got married, Eliza would have pure-blood standing and would be able to venture the world again without fear of getting arrested.
It was quite scary going into the Ministry of Magic again, but it gave Eliza comfort in knowing that Kingsley Shacklebolt was the new Minister for Magic. She knew that he was only playing a puppet to what You-Know-Who wanted, but she also knew that he wouldn't arrest her on sight, or at least that he would try to help them out the best he could. In the end, though, they came with an agreement and Eliza and Blaise signed the documentation. They soon got married, which had been quite odd because they hadn't even kissed before. Blaise had been quite proper with whatever they were doing, with the two dates they had been on and with their meetings at Hogwarts. Yes, Eliza had feelings for Blaise, but she wasn't even sure if she was in love with him yet. And through all the marriage arrangements, she was starting to think that Blaise was purely only doing it to keep her safe and that he didn't really like her as more than friends at all. Eliza knew that she wasn't quite ready to marry Blaise, but if it would keep her safe from the Death Eaters, she would do it. So, of course, she did.
It was even more awkward because all Eliza's friends thought that she was very in love with Blaise and that wasn't entirely the case. Yes, she liked him a lot, but love wasn't really the right word for it. Blaise made the wedding all about Eliza, though, and most of the guests were from her group of friends and family. Eliza felt bad that Blaise couldn't have a lot of people come, but the wedding still turned out to be a success. Ginny, Hermione and Luna were Eliza's bridesmaids and were quite supportive of her, even though Eliza knew that they didn't entirely approve of Blaise. They thought that if Eliza loved him, though, everything would be okay, so Eliza knew that she couldn't tell them why she was really marrying Blaise. Hermione probably would have tried to come up with a better solution, while Ginny would have frowned upon Eliza marrying someone who she didn't truly love. Eliza had no idea what Luna would think, but she would probably just have agreed with Hermione and Ginny. Everything went well at the wedding, but shortly afterwards, everything came to a close.
It was in August of 1999 when You-Know-Who made his last standing. It happened in Diagon Alley and Eliza was finally free to come out of hiding. You-Know-Who and the rest of his Death Eaters fought quite well that day, but Harry had completed his tasks and finally managed to defeat Voldemort. Most of the Death Eaters left and renounced all they had done, but not all of them. While Harry, Ginny, Hermione and the rest of their friends celebrated the defeat of You-Know-Who, Eliza saw that some of the Death Eaters were not going to stop there. Some of them rounded up while Eliza quickly journeyed to Hogwarts to warn them of the Death Eaters' plan.
There weren't many there to protect the school and it had only been two years since the last attack. Eliza didn't care much for the school itself at this point, though. She only cared about the students' well beings and needed to protect them from the Death Eaters. Minerva McGonagall stood with Eliza in the Entrance Hall, but not before Eliza ran off around Hogwarts, trying to find the old members of the D.A. Apparently there had been a new set of members of the D.A. while Eliza had been away from Hogwarts, so those new members journeyed down to the Entrance Hall with her. Eliza didn't want the younger ones to fight [like Alyson Aldaine, who was only a first year], but Alyson had been quite stubborn and wouldn't take no for an answer. Eliza ended up putting all her energy into protecting Aly, but at least Alyson would end up alright in the end.
Sire Blood, an ex-friend of Eliza's, also went down to the Entrance Hall, but she fought on the wrong side. Eliza saw her attack her fellow students, but she refused to fight Sire herself. She didn't want to hurt her, even though she knew she was making the wrong choice. Two more who were fighting against Hogwarts were Lilith Channing and Giovanna Nero. Giovanna had nearly killed Eliza in Diagon Alley just earlier, so Eliza tried to stay clear of her. She was a lot more powerful than the last time Eliza saw her, but that had been a couple of years before. Eliza had no idea what Giovanna could have learned in that amount of time.
In the end, the Death Eaters were driven off again. Lilith Channing was killed, while Giovanna Nero ran off away from Hogwarts. Eliza didn't know what had happened to her and hadn't heard about her for quite a few years afterwards, but there had never been and never would be any civility between the two.
After everything calmed down, everyone was free to start their lives again. Eliza did live with Blaise, but everything was even more complicated than it would have been if they were only dating. Eliza wished that they could have done it the traditional way, but she knew that nothing ever worked out to how she wanted it to anyway. Eliza got a job at the Ministry of Magic [after quite a lot of time thinking about how much she hated the Ministry for years] as an Unspeakable. She knew that she never had anything against the Unspeakables of the Ministry of Magic, so it was a safe way to go. Blaise, of course, didn't need a job, but then again, neither did Eliza, really. She was just used to having to earn money from how she was brought up by her parents and she just wouldn't have felt right about not working, even though she had enough money to last her a lifetime without having to have a job.
Eliza started to grow closer to Blaise, day after day. It was awkward, yet not, at the same time. It was almost as if they were dating, but were living in the same house. Eliza had her room and Blaise had his. She was pretty much free to go anywhere in the house, but when Eliza found a certain letter, it was the start of their first real fight.
It was a letter from Michael, who apparently was still in love with Eliza. Eliza didn't know why he had scooted out so quickly during the wedding, but the letter clearly explained why. Eliza felt so bad for never knowing that Michael felt that way. They had gone to the Yule Ball when they were fourteen -- that was it. How could he possibly have such feelings for her? The reason didn't really matter, though, so Eliza left the house, and a fuming Blaise, to go to Diagon Alley to find Michael. She had to talk to him somehow.
After going to his shop, Honeydukes, Eliza wandered over to the only club in the village -- Nexus. She was tired and confused about a lot of things and just needed to sit down for a while to clear her head. But, of course, Michael was there. They had a very awkward conversation, but in the end, Eliza knew already how things were for her. She was falling for Blaise [yes, falling for her husband, whom she was already supposed to have fallen for] and could never feel the same way for Michael. But that night, she got the feeling that he was long over her anyway.
So for the next little while, Eliza continued to work while living and growing closer with Blaise. But one day, something terrible happened. Eliza wasn't even sure how, but she found Blaise dead and suddenly her world was turned upside down. No, it was worse than that. It was the beginning of a whirl wind of chaos for her. Not long after that moment, when Eliza was still in shock and quite upset still, someone decided to attack Hogsmeade.
Eliza had been at the Three Broomsticks with her two friends, Hermione and Jamilah, at the time, when Kienmayer von Tepes, an old friend of Eliza's, came swooping in with his little army. This was the first time that Eliza had seen Giovanna in years and boy did she see her. Giovanna tried even harder to kill Eliza than the time before in Diagon Alley, but Eliza disapparated just in time, with a dying Seamus in her arms.
She knew that she had to tell Harry, so she apparated to the Weasley's right away. Not wanting to leave Seamus on the floor, though, Eliza then apparated to St. Mungo's, giving him to Daphne, who would surely take care of him. Then, Eliza apparated to Harry's place again and tried to convince him to get the Order back together again. It took quite a lot of convincing, because Harry wasn't so sure that it was in his best interest to 'save the world' again, but he eventually agreed.
Eliza was so busy with Kienmayer and his army that she didn't even have time to stop and think about what had happened to Blaise and how she felt about it. All she was doing was trying to organize the Order and try to figure out what Kienmayer's next move was. The Order wasn't very well organized, since Harry refused to be a part of it, but they eventually won against Kienmayer when he stupidly decided to attack the Ministry of Magic that day.
However, shortly before that, Eliza broke down. In between all the fighting and the news of despair, Eliza did find time to have some social interactions. She had really lost contact with a lot of her friends, but one day, Michael Corner found her wandering the streets of muggle London alone. If it hadn't been raining, he would have realized that she was crying a lot sooner, but it was obvious no matter how the weather was. Eliza went back with him to his apartment in Hogsmeade and something happened that neither of them would have ever really expected. Yes, Eliza was upset. And yes, they both still had some feelings for each other, but it was only a one time thing. After that night, they didn't talk for a couple of weeks.
It wasn't until Michael went to go and visit Eliza that it happened. She had no idea he was coming and probably wouldn't have done it if she had known that he was, but everything just got too much for her. She had been left alone to her thoughts too much, which only made the situation worse. The more she thought about it, the more she missed Blaise and she knew that there was only one way to see him again... So she took some French poison that was up in one of the cupboards in the kitchen and tried to make it so no one would rescue her, but somehow Michael got through her barriers and found her. He brought her to St. Mungo's, where she stayed for quite some time. Eliza missed the ending fight at the Ministry of Magic between the Order of the Phoenix and Kienmayer and his army. She missed a lot of things. She wasn't exactly fired from work, but she no longer worked for the Ministry while she was at St. Mungo's.
Eliza stayed there for quite some time -- almost two years -- and when she was finally released, she felt quite different. Yes, she still missed Blaise, but now she actually wanted to live again. Even though she found it hard to be happy like she used to be and to always be hanging out with her friends, Eliza was okay. She started work at the Ministry of Magic again and was quite glad that she had taken up a job as an Unspeakable in the first place. It was a good job to ignore everyone else she worked with. Sometimes she would have projects to do that only required herself and no other partner, which was good. Eliza didn't like to talk to people, to see the weird looks they gave her. Everyone talked about her behind her back, of course, and always walked on eggshells when they talked to her face to face, but Eliza tried to avoid thinking about that as much as she could.
However, Michael made that very hard for her. He visited her nearly every day, feeling obligated, like he needed to make sure she was okay. She only felt like a chore to him, like he didn't even really care if she was alive or dead. It didn't matter to her what he cared, really, though, but it was just annoying, always feeling like an object to him -- like she was some lost puppy he needed to take care of. After a while, though, Eliza was sick of it. She didn't want him to come around anymore and she knew that he didn't want to either, so the visits stopped entirely.
During that time, Eliza was trying to make an effort to get out more, but it didn't really start to work until Michael started leaving her alone. Each night after work, Eliza went out to some public place [like Nexus or the Three Broomsticks] and just tried to randomly talk to someone. She never knew the people and never saw them again, but it was good to have a chat with someone without all the baggage or weird glances. Strangers didn't know about her past or what had happened to her or why she had been in St. Mungo's for nearly two years. It was just conversation, which was exactly what Eliza needed. She just needed someone to talk to.
After a while, Eliza became a bit more social again. Once, during one of her routine trips to the Three Broomsticks, she ran into an old friend. It was Keith Forster, who had actually been a rival of Michael's when they were in school. They had opposite jobs now [After Honeydukes burned down because of the attack on Hogsmeade by Kienmayer, he sold it to Kiah McGregor and became one of the photographers for the Daily Prophet, while Keith was the photographer for the Quibbler]. They were always neck and neck with everything, but Eliza found Keith's company quite a lot more enjoyable. He didn't give her weird looks and only treated her as a person, which was exactly what she loved about talking with him.
Most recently, Eliza was charged with training one of the newest Unspeakables at the Ministry of Magic. An ex-Death Eater and ex-Tepes' Army soldier, Sire Blood II decided to 'reform' and join the Ministry of Magic. Why Eliza was forced to train her, she didn't know. She wished that it could be anyone else but Sire, but of course, fate worked against Eliza that day. On the first day of work with Sire, Eliza hated talking to her because they were no longer friends and Eliza doubted they ever could be again with all that Sire had done and seen. They were too different now, but after a while, they found that they could be civil towards each other. It will probably be a long time before they can be friends again, but Eliza isn't as stubborn as she wishes she was.
At the moment, Eliza is 26 and just trying to concentrate on her career. All she does is work and live. Living isn't exactly enjoyable like it used to be for her, but at least it's living and that's all she knows how to do anymore. Living is all she can do. Just live.
For the next few years, Eliza got out more and talked to her friends. Instead of going to Nexus just to go, she actually started to enjoy the company of others and slowly was getting back in touch with her old friends and acquiantances from Hogwarts. She was enjoying life again. Of course, she had been through some very difficult times and would never be the same. No one would. Many lives were touched and changed by the events of Voldemort's reign and Kienmayer's war. But Eliza was doing better now. She was still working at the Ministry. Some days she didn't enjoy it, but she still was working very hard.
Then the Death Eaters returned.
Eliza wasn't sure how, but they were back. This time, their leader was none other than Giovanna Nero. Of course it had to be her - Eliza's old classmate who really hated Eliza's existance and tried to kill her any time they crossed paths.
They tried to take over the Ministry again, revoke the rights the werewolves and vampires fought so hard to obtain. Eliza joined the Order again, knowing that she couldn't sit back and watch Giovanna try to destroy England again. Eliza didn't agree with how they had gotten their rights, but she thought that the werewolves and vampires deserved them now. Who was Giovanna to try to take them away?
After a couple of years, Giovanna disappeared and the Death Eaters dispersed. Eliza wondered what happened, but she didn't really care. As long as Giovanna was actually gone, Eliza was happy.
A short while later, a wizarding plague swept through England, killing many witches and wizards. The irony was that it affected purebloods most of all, after they had been the ones apparently so powerful and much more magical than the rest. But now nature was working against them, or a person if the sickness was wizard-made. Eliza didn't think it was, though. It was probably payment for all of the terrible things related to blood status that had happened in the past two decades.
There was no way out. Eliza, Sire and Hermione banded together and came up with a plan. There was no way for them to come up with a cure. But for the past 8 or so years, Eliza had been working on experiemnts and tests concerning time. They decided they needed to turn the world back, to go back to 1991. Voldemort would be alive, but it wouldn't matter. At least the wizarding population still stood a chance. The three witches who performed the spell would eventually remember, and those who weren't so connected to reality, but no one else would know the future they never had.
A couple of years later, Eliza joined the Quidditch team. She really loved playing Quidditch and had a lot of fun with her teammates during practices and the games. That same year, Eliza really grew up a lot, becoming more of the Gryffindor she was destined to be. Before, she had been shy and not as willing to stand up for herself. But in her fourth year, thanks to a run in with Draco Malfoy, she started to stand up for herself against the Slytherins and therefore was less of a target for them to tease. However, that didn't stop them all together.
The next year, Umbridge took over the school. Eliza didn't enjoy her at all. She joined the D.A. with some of the other Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws. She had a lot of fun practicing spells with them and was grateful to Harry for teaching them some defensive spells.
Eliza also started to break out from her usual group too, though. She even started to talk to some Slytherins who weren't in Malfoy's gang. Eliza started to get along with Lir Fury quite a bit, even though they didn't get along most of the time. But he didn't tease her like Malfoy or Pansy did. They still got along, even though Lir got on Eliza's nerves quite often. She particularily was annoyed with the types of girls he had hanging off his arm most of the time.
In Eliza's sixth year, she continued to dislike Lir, but a part of her was wanting not to. She wanted to get along with him, but he annoyed her so much sometimes. He was so infuriating!
That summer, she met Connie Bradley, a famous Quidditch player, and befriended him. They met again at Bill and Fleur's wedding. Connie was very friendly towards her, and may be even a little flirtacious. Eliza assumed that he was just being charming, though, since he was a Quidditch player. He was quite a lot older than her, though, but Eliza was smitten and a big fan of him.
When the Minister was killed, however, Eliza was forced to flee. No muggleborn in England was safe anymore. She fled from everyone she knew, even her parents. Eliza was on her own at first and then met up with Ron around Christmas. It was the time when they really became friends. Before, they hadn't been very good at getting alogn by themselves, but that moment together confirmed their friendship forever.
Eventually she met three muggleborns who were also on the run and traveled with them. But after a few months of being with them and attacking Snatchers who were otherwise going to hurt innocent witches and wizards, Eliza realized she had to return to her friends in the war. She went back to Hogwarts just a few days before the infamous Battle of Hogwarts occurred.
When she got to the castle, she was quickly escorted into the Room of Requirement with the rest of the D.A. members. When the announcement from Voldemort rang out, she ran into the thrall with everyone else. She soon found Ginny and travelled with her. They went to the Astronomy Tower to look out and also attack any dark wizards they found.
Eliza found Ava, who was nearly being attacked by a large Slytherin boy. Eliza saved her and then left the shaking Ava with Ginny. She knew Ginny would be able to protect her, but other than that one boy, the Astronomy Tower wasn't very active of dark wizards. Eliza came there to finally fight, not be a coward standing on top of a tower. She needed to be in the action, to make a difference, even if it meant her own life.
Eliza ran down the stairs. The marble staircase was kind to her. The passage down to the Entrance Hall hadn't been very long. When she got there, she found no other than Giovanna Nero, the one person who probably hated Eliza the most. She was about to kill Fred when Eliza distracted her, knowing that she would probably have much rather hurt Eliza instead.
Eliza was right. Giovanna pursued her and chased Eliza down the hallway. Eliza spelled suits of armour and other objects to block her path and eventually got away and helped some other people too. Eventually, Harry won and Voldemort and his Death Eaters were defeated.
The next year, Eliza returned to Hogwarts with Harry, Ron and Hermione. She graduated with Ginny and everyone in her year. It was a strange year for her, being back in a school setting after all of the things she had gone through while being on the run. It felt different, somehow so strange to have the same bed every night and be playing Quidditch again.
In the spring, Harry retired as Quidditch Captain because he wanted to really focus on his NEWTs, so Eliza stepped in. It was great fun being able to captain her last Quidditch game of her Hogwarts years. During that game, she was scouted by the Appleby Arrows. However, Eliza wasn't quite decided yet, so she took an interview at the Ministry of Magic for an Auror position.
Eliza thought it might be something she would want to do. After all, she helped all of those muggleborns escape and she went back to Hogwarts to help fight with her friends and her school. It seemed like the logical choice. But when she got there and she sat down for the interview, it was all too easy. She didn't have any NEWTs and the Ministry official who was interviewing her acted like she was a hero, like they had been on her side all along. But in reality, they were the ones who had been pursuing her. They were the ones who made her have to be on the run instead of just being able to stay at school like any normal seventeen year old girl. Not to mention Sally or Thomas, who had been so young at the time.
Eliza couldn't do it, so she regretfully declined their offer and joined the Appleby Arrows. She found that someone else she graduated with was also recruited to the team: Saber Norian. The first month was brutal. It was the most intense training Eliza ever had in Quidditch. Wood hadn't even been that bad in her first year. Eliza found that the professional level was a huge step up from Hogwarts, but she loved it.
Eliza and Saber travelled with their team from city to city and also to different countries for many months. She found that it was a lot of fun, playing Quidditch for her career. All of those classes she took and all of those NEWTs were now pointless.
After almost a year of it, Eliza had some downtime. She started writing back and forth with Sally, one of the muggleborns she had rescued. She told Eliza that her parents had both died. Since her aunt died trying to protect her from Death Eaters, Sally was all alone. Eliza didn't want her to go into foster care because she knew that it would have been terrible for her. Sally was a muggleborn, so she would have gone to a muggle orphanage and Eliza didn't wish that on anyone.
Eliza adopted her. The Ministry was kind enough to allow it, especially since it was what Sally wanted and Eliza was a good standing citizen of the wizarding world. She also was a muggleborn herself, so she would know exactly how to help Sally with anything she needed to know when preparing for Hogwarts.
Knowing that travelling the country constantly for Quidditch games wouldn't be a very stable environment for Sally, Eliza quit the Appleby Arrows and considered the Ministry once more. She was still quite decided on not joining the Magical Law Enforcement Squad, though. They were so wrapped up in the politics and terrible things that the Ministry did while under Voldemort's reign. People tried to convince Eliza that it was different now. Harry was an Auror and Eliza trusted Harry. But it didn't matter to Eliza. She just couldn't be part of it.
But then she thought about the Department of Mysteries and the Unspeakables. Eliza applied for the job there and was accepted as an Unspeakable. It was so far down in the Ministry and was very far away from all the bureaucratic non-sense that the Ministry was composed of.
Eliza started working on time with Ian and Angie. She actually grew quite close with Angie, since she was closer to Eliza's age. Ian was older and while they did get along, she never hung out with him outside of work.
In May, three years after the Battle of Hogwarts, the Ministry put together a festival in Diagon Alley to celebrate the wizarding world's victory over Voldemort and the Death Eaters. It also was for the Order Members to show themselves and not be afraid anymore of persecution. No one really was, but the Ministry were trying to brand them as heroes (even though they had been fugitives for so long). It was funny the way that switched when someone else was the victor.
Eliza got to catch up with her old school friends and Quidditch mates, Katie and George. It was a lot of fun talking to them and Eliza found out that Katie had worked at the Ministry as an Auror and then quit to play Quidditch. It was funny the way they switched. But just as sudden as it ever could be, there were three large explosions. One was at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, one was at Madam Malkin's and one was at the Daily Prophet. Flourish and Blotts was also badly affected.
Eliza looked around and found Angie on the ground with a broken arm and a wooden beam sticking out of her leg. She instantly grabbed her and apparated her to St. Mungo's. She wanted to go back and help the others, but she also knew that she had to make sure Angie was alright.

personality ;
