Personal Aspirations: Immediately? Graduate from school. Sure she wasn't graduating either at Augustine but at least she was with people her age. (Not that 16 is that much younger.) Also immediately - pester the living heck out of her brother. She hasn't seen him in years - floo calls do not count Nox!

Relationship with Parents:
She's closer to her mum than her dad, because of course, she lives with her mum. Her mother is strict, but she cares, despite what their conversations sound like. Sol just says you have to pick up cues - like if her mum's worried, she'll tap a finger against her thigh, and if she's angry, she gets really quiet, that sort of stuff.
Sol is a little bit awkward with her dad, if only because she's seen him less. There had been summers where she would stay with him instead of staying with her mum in Auckland, but they don't really ever have that much to say. She knows he loves her though. (She does think he's gay, and that's the entire reason that her parents divorced. Nox is not confirming this information.)
Relationship with Siblings:
He's her big brother. He's suppoed to have her back always. She's brat to him, picks on him, throws fits, and he (usually) lets it slide. They've got a good relationship really, even though there's a little bit of an age gap between them. Sol is counting on Nox to help her with all her school work.
OPINION
Quidditch
She doesn't like to play it, but she likes to watch it. Her brother is really good at it. Sol, not so much. She does really enjoy watching games, it's always fun. As a sport, she prefers Gliding a little more, but at the same time, she's not very good at that either.
Care of Magical Creatures
They're fascinating. Even all the dangerous ones. Sol's not one of those people who think all creatures are "misunderstood" and she sure as hell won't stand in front of a charging hippogriff to save someone, but she will be respectful to any and all creatures. She has a particular fondness of dragons. She thinks she wants to do dragonology and be dragonologist or a drager tamer. She hasn't quite decided.
The Wizarding Government of Scotland
She heard about it as opposed to being present for it. It was intersting and there are some topics she's not sure she completely understands but it's done. It's over. She does think that there isn't anything that wrong with getting the truth out to the public, however, there are things that could be witheld out of respect for people too.
Muggles
They're okay, she guesses. She's never really had a bad experience with any muggles she's ever met in New Zealand, or in Australia when she had been attendign Augustine. She appreciates how brave muggles can be though, especially when they don't have the same healing spells that wixen do.
The Sorting Hat
She kind of hopes she doesn't have to use the sorting hat if she's honest? She doesn't even like sharing her brush or hair ties, so like....wearing a hat that's been on thousands of peoples' heads is kind of gross. Logically, she knows it's only a few seconds, but gross. Sol does admit it's a very impressive piece of magic though. She thinks that Nox mentioned something about a sorting scarf now, but she can't remember the details.

Pureblood Marriage Decree of 2008-2011 & Harry Potter Hiding at Hogwarts
For as long as she can remember, Sol's parents had never been together, not since she was born. It's why she has her mum's last name, while Nox has their dad's. Sol's sort of wondered what happened to cause them to fall out, and Nox will jokingly tell her that it's because they argued over some stuff around the year she was born - the pureblood marriage decree, Harry Potter (who, really to her is just a name) having hidden at Hogwarts while being wanted or something. Sol thinks they're stupid things, and it was stupider for her parents to fight about them.
Dodeca of 2014
She vaguely remembers watching it, or at leaet hearing about it. She doesn't remember too much, but enjoyed the festivities. When she learned the school was in Egypt, Sol was promptly distracted by thinking of how much sand there was everywhere. She thinks it'd be fun to attend a Dodeca tournament and participate. Of course, as the years go on, she highly doubts there could be one that she could attend in the near future.
Attending Augustine
Sol was actually quite excited to attend the wizarding school. She had been jealous as Nox had been attending wizarding school for years now and she could only study at home. The school did not disappoint and she attended it eagerly. (She later does whine a little about how the different school systems meant she was still attending school with younger kids at Hogwarts. It could be worse Sol supposes.)
Muggleborn Festival of 2022
She did not attend. But she heard that her father and brother did attend. Something about public appearances. Knowing her father and brother, they probably stayed for a little bit, and then left. She heard it was a disaster anyway.
Move to the UK
Her brother graduating from Hogwarts definitely started Sol's pestering to move to the UK. One, she wouldn't be living with her dad (who her mum thought was an eyesore, god they hated each other now and Sol doesn't want to know why), but with Nox who had settled initially, in London by himself after graduation. Her mother thwarted all her attempts, however, in the last year, Nox moved down to Hogsmeade, and Sol jumped at the chance. After all, her brother would be there by the school! Her mum couldn't be that worried now!
ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE
Oh thank goodness. He got the name right. That made him feel less awkward - not that he was ever really that awkward with the wizard in front of him. If he got the wrong dude, then yeah, pretty awkward. Lucky, his memory served him well. It helped, Noa supposed, that well, they were only just a little older, and hadn't changed that much.
"A transfer would have been a better excuse, but nah. Just stuff." Noa shrugged, then added, "You remember how I'm pants at herbology right? Well, I ate something wonky, and that messed me up for a bit. And then, had an accident at some glass bridge in China when we were vacationing. Fell off it." Well, his parents would say he dived off it, but really, it was a trip, and then a flail down. "They thought I was suicidal and didn't feel confident in my abilities to be away from home."
Noa whistled. "Petrified? The heck did I miss?"
