What a year it is, and it hasn't even started that long ago. The school is still so tense, even though the basilisk is now gone. Or at least, I hope so. It's what I hear anyways.
Hopefully this year will go much smoother.
Reply or don't. I just needed to busy myself and writing a letter was easier than homework.

Once again, I just needed to stay busy. I have found it is nice to balance small menial things in between tasks. My father always told me to remember to take breaks between things, and this shall be one.
For my potentially many breaks, my studies seem to be going as well as they can be. Perhaps magic will be kind and not give us any strange happenings this year.
