Lee Ji-Hyun skipped down to the lake, one of her favorite spots at Hogwarts and sat down in front of the water. Coming down here always helped her to relax, it was September and it meant it was getting cold outside. She had put on some comfortable and warm clothes, hears other students around. Thinking that she should have asked her friends to join her, but she really wanted to get outside, and she just left after changing her clothes. She had a good day; everything went well, and nothing bad happened to her at all. She wished she could stick her feet in the water but knew it wasn't a good idea with this weather, thinking about the things that live in the lake and wouldn't want to meet any of them.
She sat back on her hands, put her legs out in front of her and enjoyed the fresh air. She thought she heard a splash coming from the lake, figured it was one of the creatures that lived in the lake and continued to enjoy being outside.

Calvin hadn't exactly planned on going out today despite it being such a nice day but considering how things had been going in his life, a little walk through the lake wouldn't hurt him. He had been going through some things recently which was odd considering he's technically an adult. Transferring over from Augustine made him one of the oldest students here now which was still an odd feeling considering he still had two years left of schooling.
Once at the lake, he dropped into his swimming gear and made his way over to the water's edge where he began swimming a few laps. Fitness had been a new passion for him and he enjoyed it a lot. Taking a breath to enjoy the refreshing water, he noticed Lee in the distance. "Hey Lee! Beauty of a day right?" He asked as he swam over toward the water's edge where he continued to remain sitting.

Lee Ji-Hyun was still enjoying the fresh air, listening to the other students chat with each other and still sitting back on her hands. She sat up, since her back was starting to hurt and her hands. Wished she knew what time it was now, didn't know how long she had been out here and heard someone say her name. She looked towards the lake, saw Calvin in the water and could tell he was wearing swimming gear on, he came over to the edge. "Hey! Calvin, yeah it is. But we will be getting that September weather before we know it. It is nice out today, it was one of the reasons I came out to the lake and it was kind of loud in the common room." Lee Ji-Hyun said, as she smiled at him. He was her housemate, but he was a little bit older than her and she always thought he was a nice guy.
"What made you want to come out here and get into the lake?" Lee Ji-Hyun asked.

Calvin decided to remain in the water rather than out of it. The slight breeze also made it difficult for him to get out as he felt the chill that came with the wind. "Yeah that common room seems to get louder and louder. " It did make studying rather difficult. Calvin needed silence in order to study or else he would get distracted. Then again, Calvin normally got distracted very easily in general. He liked things that sparkled or any type of food with a high sugar content.
" Oh, I ... " He wasn't really ready to talk about it and had to come up with a quick lie himself in order to hide the fact he was dealing with a break up. " I just needed some exercise. I've had too much candy lately. " He replied hoping Lee wouldn't read through his lies.
