500 years ago the Manu corrupted their planet's gem core, releasing a deadly, creeping Myst. Monstrous creatures lurking within the Myst decimated every living thing they came across. Only one city survived: Vanara. The Spirit-bound Manu, with their precious gem hearts, fortified and defended the city from the creatures of the Myst. The Shade-bound were pushed outside, to live on a knife's edge, while the Myst creeps ever closer.
