Dear Mum,
See, I told you I would write. I'm not even asking for money this time (but a couple sickles won't go amiss. just saying).
School has been fun. It's kind of boring though. History of Magic is so dumb. What's the point in learning about a bunch of old dead guys? Can't we learn business skills or something? I wanna be like dad when I grow up.Except maybe not balding.
I wanted to ask you for some advice. I don't really trust my friends like I trust you.I have at least two friends as well. Anyway.
I've seen plenty of cute girls here, but they're all a bit annoying. The other day, though, I was studying with my pal Nathaniel and the Ravenclaw prefect Levi was there. Let me tell you. It was like a veela walked into the room. His hair is as white as snow and his eyes were literally sparkling like I didn't even think that was possible. But what does that mean? Like, I can't be gay 'cos I fancy at least two girls and I've had a girlfriendshe just went to another school. But there was something about him, mum. I can't stop thinking about him. I'm laying awake at night listening to Godunter (or however you spell his name) rambling about his day and his cooking club and my mind just drifts to how strong Levi's arms probably look opening an oven.
What does that make me? Would you and dad still love me? I want to make you both proud. I want to be the best I can, for both of you. But I can't do anything right if I'm living in my head all the time like I am right now. Things just pass me by and I can't concentrate from one day to the next. It started with Levi but now I feel like that about pretty much any good looking fifth year. I don't know what's happened. It's like the cootie monster has infected me.
