It was officially love month. The one month where every couple at Hogwarts decided that for a whole month they would share to the wizarding world their young love and partners to the public. The time when rumours spread about who likes who, the spreading of cooties as some first years call it and the exchange of gifts, flowers and chocolates. It also so happened to be the month when Honeydukes seemed to up it's prices on chocolates.
None the less, Levi had sent an owl to Lottie asking her to meet her in the courtyards. He dressed nicely for the occasion. He timed it well so that no many others if any would see their little date he had set up. This month started off right already with his parents informing him that training would be postponed for the month of February as the two were going on a cruise in the Bahamas. Now, he was able to actually enjoy being a teen even for a little bit.
Pacing back and forth, Levi waited in the yards for Lottie's arrival. In his hand, a bunch of red roses and in the other, a box of chocolates in the shape of a heart. He had wreaked of Dior Savuage Cologne and his hair had been slicked back with so much hair product it looked like a bowling ball. He took a deep breath in and out hoping his sweat patches under his arms wouldn't be too obvious.

It was Valentine's Day and Levi asked Lottie to meet him in the courtyard. Again, the courtyard. Was this their spot? It might as well be. But of course, it was quite chilly. Lottie had to wear her winter cloak as the courtyard was outside, even if it was within the castle walls. At least that did help with the wind, but it was still chilly.
She wasn't sure what she expected, but she knew to expect something. She was sure this had to do with Valentine's Day, but they weren't even dating... Not really, anyway. Even though she had such butterfly activity any time she saw him in classes or even in the corridor. Or even if she was sitting at Gryffindor table and happened to look up and saw him at his own Ravenclaw table... Yep, she was a goner.
She figured maybe Levi would want to ask her to go exploring or maybe to go to Hogsmeade together next time. She didn't expect him to actually be giving him flowers and chocolates! When she arrived, she stopped herself from gasping, but her face did look quite surprised. "Are those... are those for me?" she asked. She sure hoped so and that he wasn't just making a stop to talk to her for a moment before going to deliver the gifts for the real recipient.

This would be the first valentines in which Levi was activley attempting to woo someone and obtain their trust enough to establish a connection with them far beyond the realms of being a friend. The cold air only added a sense of comfort to his breathing as he paced back and forth, condensation leaving his mouth as his pacing finally came to a stop.
A voice called out to him sending a further shiver down his spine as he turned around, his clicked back hair having traces of snow lingering on top of it. " Hey Lottie." He responded with a slight raspy tone in his voice. A smile illuminated on his face seeing Lottie showing up. He had a small sense of doubt within him that Lottie wouldn't show up and to see her was a relief.
" These?" He asked holding up the box of chocolates and flowers in the air slightly. " Of course they are. " He said walking over on the slippery floor only to have his stature and poise compromised by the slippery floor. He didn't just slip in his stride, he slipped for what looked like seconds. He went from a graceful and well structured young man to what looked like a dog struggling to stand still on ice. His slip finally came to a stop when he managed to land on his buttock on the floor, the cold floor seeping through his clothes as he looked up at her from the ground.
