Thoughts on Blood Purism: It's honestly really stupid. My mum is brilliant and her parents aren't wizards. I think it's just a way for people to think they're better than others when they actually aren't.
Thoughts on the Government: I've heard things over the years from mum and Harry, of course. And there was that whole civil war. I don't know if I trust them entirely. But I'm glad that the war is over.

Opinion:

Wrote this a while ago, so I want to keep this part here.

Blood purity - I don't think it should be important. It's the whole reason I never even met my dad. Mum says his family won't allow it and he'll lose them if he contacts us because mum is a muggleborn. I think that's ridiculous. She's so smart and accomplished. She's the Headmistress, after all! How could they care about him talking to us?

Charms - I'm looking forward to it. I hope I'm good because that was mum's best class and she taught it for years too.

Ministry of Magic - Mum doesn't trust them and I don't either. I'm glad that Scotland got their own government, not that I understand much of how that works. But mum says that means they can make their own rules now. And Hogsmeade is separate from both. I don't understand that either.

Harry Potter - I grew up knowing him and his kids. He's good friends with mum. She said some people really don't like him but he's always been nice to me so I don't understand that. The papers really don't like him either. I'm not sure what he did to them to deserve all they say about him.

The Knight Bus - I hope I never need it. I don't want to get lost out there in the world without mum or someone else. But I'm glad to know it exists.

Roleplay Example:

Over the few months, Linnea's life had been full of wedding preparation. It was something she never thought she'd ever do, but there she was, getting married to her boyfriend of Merlin knew how many years. They originally started dating in school and now they were in their 30's! She supposed it was about time. She just didn't love to be tied down to one place and she supposed her views on marriage were similar to that. But she could be married and still travel. And besides, their lives always were up and down. She was always devoted to Jacob and thought that a marriage wouldn't actually change anything. But when he asked... she had to say yes. She absolutely wanted to say yes! And that was amazing and quite surprising for her. She actually didn't know if she would say yes, but then it happened and there was no doubt in her mind.

Her work took her far away often and so did his. But she was taking a little more time off so she could be in Scotland more to prepare for the wedding. There was so much to do! They didn't want to do a huge event but there were so many people from their Liberamach days or old school friends who would need to be invited. Plus her parents and probably his family as well.

The only big decision that Linnea was absolutely set on was the fact that it had to be an outdoor wedding. And near a forest. That was where she felt most at home and most comfortable. Actually, in a clearing in the middle of a forest would have been perfect. It took a while, but they finally found the perfect spot. It was in Scotland as well which was nice, since Linnea didn't really want to get married in Britain.

As it would be outside, they set a summer date and everything was going pretty smoothly. There was always things that happened last minute and that would be expected but for being four months out from the date, things were going pretty smoothly. Linnea even had a dress. The fitting had been so strange for her, it made it so real, but she was absolutely and positively happy.

But then it happened.

Jacob was gone again. But this time, he left a note. Linnea had no plan on repeating what it said to anyone. But he was gone and it was for good this time. They were over.

Linnea would never understand what happened. She thought things were going so well... And she was so unbelievably happy. But now she was left with her heart completely broken. After finally giving herself completely to this one person, becoming whole only when they were together, being so in love... Now he was gone. And she was only half a person.

It wasn't like last time. Jacob went away for work and never came back. And Linnea was angry, thinking he left her. She had some hookups. But this time... He had completely broken her heart. She didn't even talk to anyone for a long while. She felt dark, like all of the good parts of her were destroyed. And she fell into her work. Hard.

Luckily, she was a spy and that required leaving all that was Linnea behind, back in Scotland. Diving into her work was really the only thing she could do to cope with the loss.

Linnea became more focused than ever and was very glad that she didn't work with people who wanted to know about her life or how she was feeling. She just wanted to get the job done.

She had been doing a bit of a side project, though. It wasn't entirely sanctioned by the WGOS, but it wasn't discouraged either. It was off the books because explaining its reasoning for having one of their agents devoting time and resources to it might be a bit hard to explain to the rest of the government.

Linnea was trying to find Five's killer.

She still didn't know her name, only various aliases she had used since that fateful day. Linnea eventually found her in Mexico, near the border with the United States. But what she found her doing was actually quite peculiar. Instead of extracting her and bringing her back to WGOS for justice, she followed her and gathered intel.

The woman was meeting with a lot of high up muggles in their government and some corporations that controlled a lot of the countries, in both countries. Why would she do this? She didn't seem to be a muggle. But combined with the strange behaviours of various muggle government leaders and CEOs over the past year, that seemed a little too coincidental. What was she doing? Was she trying to control them for some nefarious purpose?

Linnea was in deep at this point. She was pulling out all the old spy techniques in the book. Not that they really had a book since WGOS was fairly new. It helped that she was a witch, though. Disguising or changing her look frequently was pretty easy and she was allowed to use Polyjuice Potion sometimes as well, though it did always have to be approved. Of course, this mission was off the books, though, so she had a bit more wiggle room with what she did on the mission. As long as it didn't come back to bite the government later because they likely wouldn't protect her if it did. Even if she had been a major part of the government existing at all. But Linnea preferred not to think about that. Because when she though about her time in Liberamach, she thought about Jacob. And that wasn't somewhere she allowed her thoughts to go these days. No. Focus on the present. What was this redhead doing to the muggles? And why?
