Welcome to The Waiting Game, we are a an original supernatural sandbox site that is influenced by modern media and literature with themes ranging from dark acadamia, secret societies, cults, ley lines, liminal planes, magic and everything in between. Set in the fictional Burns Bay, Maine nestled between the mountains and the sea has a history of stark social class inequalities that has a habit of going a little topsy turvy more often than not. Residents can find most things in the crevices of the city. Between dealers selling shoddy magic, students researching and playing with magics far more complex than they are lead to believe fed by the Ley Line coursing beneath the city. Rituals that are shrouded in mystery all have side effects that the city has dealt with or hidden for years depending on just who is behind it all. For power is something that everyone desires and some will go to extreme lengths to keep it, while others just want a small taste of it.



As the plot and characters develop on the site we expect the lore and landscape of the site to twist and morph with all of the ideas of the staff and members who come to play.
