This is a sort of 1930s, noir, art deco, superhero, adventure, archaeology, occult RP (heavily influenced by Gotham City's dark "vibe"), including Marvel, DC, Indiana Jones, The Mummy, Tomb Raider, Dick Tracy and Hellboy (and anything else that members would like to fit in - we have no problem allowing "outside" characters, so long as they fit/can be made to fit into our timeline).
