TB is now yet again open to the public. However, we have many changes going forward so this can be a site enjoyable to all, including the staff who run it.




Yes, we have them, and it's a major part about TB. Which is why it needs to be addressed that if you are going to participate in a mass thread, you must be ready to interact with anyone and possibly everyone. It's not an excuse to get a 'free' thread to roleplay with your bestie and not have it count against you. Your actions within mass threads count as well. If you're only interacting with a particular person, that will still count as having a thread together.

Also, make sure to check your behaviour in these threads. For example, if you're in the audience of a Quidditch game or Dodecawizard Task, you should be at least mentioning the person you're there to watch. And do not use in character fake reasons to be against a character who your character would actually get along with just because you dislike the writer. If you don't want to interact to or about them, then just don't participate.

Also make sure to check who you're interacting with before you do. Have they already posted? Are they already talking to someone? If so, you'd better include them in the conversation. And pretending that you didn't realize they were talking to someone when all their posts are tagging that person is not acceptable.

The kinds of behaviours mentioned above are absolutely things that can get you gone from the site if this behaviour repeats.




We now will be working with a very strict warning system. And behaviour towards others will matter a lot. If you are ignoring people in mass threads when there's absolutely no reason to, or purposefully leaving people out, or trying to ruin their enjoyment of mass threads or even sabotaging their personal plots, you will get a strike against you. Three strikes and you will be asked to leave the site.

If this is happening to you, make sure to tell the staff about it, otherwise we likely won't know that it's happening and then can't do anything about it. The staff also will discuss/vote to determine if this is valid. We don't want people being petty and complaining about others to spite them.

Also, as usual, if you break a major rule of the site you will be asked to leave right away (ex. stealing, harassment). If you break a medium rule, you will be given a second chance and then if it continues you will be asked to leave the site.




I know that many of you probably won't even want to return with having to re-register everyone. That's perfectly fine. But also don't spread negativity. All we asked was for you to treat us like any other member and you retorted with hatred and victim blaming. That was the worst possible reaction, which is what led to us going private with only a few people.

During this time of being private, other sites have been created. That's perfectly fine. However, some have done so by stealing things that were specifically made for TB and those people will not be welcome back. Also anyone who promoted lies and slander about the site and staff or promoted people to hate on the staff are not welcome back.

We will continue to have restricted registration, meaning you need to wait for your account to be approved. If you are not welcome back due to your behaviour and actions, do not try to re-register. Even under a different email or alias. If you are caught, even if weeks or months later, you'll be banned and lose all your plots/threads again. And anyone who knows that someone was back who was banned and did not tell staff will also be banned from the site. You might not think this is serious, but it very much is.




We have a new skin and with that a very different member profile. Now it will fit 5 skills, so you can go over to the skills claim to tell us which skill you'd like to be added to your profile.




We will move into January 2020 soon, which is why it's already in the logo. But current mass threads set in December are not over. You can still participate in them. <3




Make sure to read the Rules thread, especially for the character creation rules changes. If you ask us what the current rules are on it, we're just going to copy and paste from there. So just give it a read. You aren't going to be able to make a million characters at once anymore, but that's how it should be. TB should be for long term and you don't want to get to 20 characters too fast and then be unable to keep up with your characters nor be able to create new ones.




I know many might be angry from what happened a few weeks ago. Some got caught in the crossfire. But for the most part, you guys were not the wronged party. You were the wrongers. If you don't want to come back, that's fine. But you also do not need to spread any negativity or come on here just to tell us why you don't want to be here. If you do, we're just going to delete it. And it doesn't do anyone good. If you wish to stay gone, then good luck to you. It's a big internet out there and there are many sites to roleplay on. Whether you're not welcome due to your past behaviour or if you just don't wish to return, we wish you the best of luck just the same.

I hope that anyone who does wish to re-join us will treat everyone the same - staff and member - and help us build a community that once again is welcome to all, no matter how long or short a time everyone has been here.
