It is being adjusted once again. This will make it so more people can create adults (right now, 9 people are at their limit, afterwards, it'll be 7). There are a few reasons:
-- People who have been around a while and started writing students who eventually graduated got penalized in adult creation because it would contribute to the numbers. But that's the TB experience, writing your characters from student to adult. That's how everyone should be doing it anyway, with a few created adults here and there.
-- Some had ridiculous limits and if they wanted to, could have created like 20+ adults and just throw everything way out of whack, which was already happening and the reason our students to adults ratio has actually gotten WORSE, since the announcement and new rule, not better.
-- Calculating percentages was a little confusing to some members. This will be a lot easier.
You can CREATE up to 5 adults plus 1 for every 10 characters you have.
So if you have 20 characters, you can create 7 adults.
NOTES:
-- It will not be rounded. If you have 18 characters, that counts as 10. However, if you are creating a new character, that new character of course counts in it. So if you currently have 19 characters and want to make a new one, then it will be 20 and you'll have an extra slot.
-- The OOC Purchase will remain. Those who bought it won't get a refund if you now have extra slots. You just have those extra slots now. Shay: 2 available (-1+3). Jax: 3 available (2+1). If anyone else bought it already who I missed, please let us know.
-- If you have a pending app right now (already posted before this thread was posted) and the previous rule works for you but not the current one, the app can still be accepted, but note that you would then be overlimit, so it'll be a lot longer before you can make another one.
