Hey, guys! We wanted to take a moment to remind you of a couple of our graphic rules.
Lately, we've seen quite an influx of pictures that are badly stretched or poor quality, which has been something against the rules for a while since it can cause pretty major headaches for people. If you're having trouble resizing things since we added the option to use larger avatars, please, don't hesitate to ask for help. This is something we can technically remove without warning if we see it happening. I don't want to go through and just wipe out a ton of graphics without letting you know why though, so this is a general announcement that come Monday I'm going to start replacing things if they're stretched wonky. That being said, if I'm having to replace quite a few graphics, I likely won't have a ton of time to track down each individual picture, especially if you have them rotating. Please, do take this time to either come to me or someone else who does graphics on the site if you need a quick tutorial on resizing, or post a request in our graphics section so we can also give some of our awesome graphics artists a chance to earn some house points.
The other thing we wanted to mention is the signature height requirements. They should be no taller than 350px TOTAL. Meaning, you have room for something like a 200px signature, 100px banner, a small button, and graphics credit. If you're wanting to do multiple banners or a ton of buttons at once, I would recommend uploading them to a graphics rotation site, so you can still use them all at once without clogging up your signature space. I personally use www.randimg.net/, but there's a slew of them out there.
If you have any questions about any of this or need help with something, please, feel free to pm me any time!
