For all new applications as of right now (anything accepted or pending as of this moment is exempt), the memories section has been increased to five (5) memories. Also, at least one (1) of those must be something from a major event on site. Ex. the war with Italy, taking the cure, the Diagon Alley Fiasco, Battle of Hogwarts, etc.
This is for a few reasons:
-- To make sure that everyone knows of at least a few major plots that have lasted on the site.
-- To integrate better with current/older characters.
-- To integrate better into the plot.
This is especially for the adults as the youngsters wouldn't be really involved with a lot of those, but they would know about them or have relatives from them. For students, they can still have a memory of losing someone in the Diagon Alley Fiasco or like say having an uncle be enlisted in the army and go to war against Italy, etc.
