Also, while we are yet again allowing fifth years to be made at Hogwarts, note that if you want them to be Prefect, they pretty much have no chance of getting that if you make them a fifth year right away. Making them a fourth year and then waiting a few months 'til term change would be a lot more possible. <3

Regardless of if you're new or not, we are only accepting Hogwarts students from first to fifth year. Exceptions are canon characters and wanted ads (but only if you already have a character who is between first and fifth year).
Also, you are only allowed to have up to 2 characters in each year of schooling.* This is to spread it out so we don't get all fifth years. We would encourage you to make younger years anyway because our time moves by so quickly - in a few months, they'll be a year older anyway. This applies to all of the schools (and not just per year per school - it's overall). Other schools that have different years than Hogwarts count by what they would be at Hogwarts (ex. Dahshur first year is actually Hogwarts third year age). Exceptions may be made during the Dodecawizard Tournament on a case by case basis (simply PM Eliza).
