The new term will start on October 2nd. All professors will be required to post lessons by November 2nd. Classes are not being required at Firenze this term, since we don't have as many students anymore. However, if any professors from non-Hogwarts schools want to post lessons, you're always free to do so! Just because it's not required of you doesn't mean you're not allowed to. Go for it if you want. (:



These will start up again soon. If anyone wants to help with collecting the nominations, do let me know. But it would require quite a bit of work. <3



It's not quiteeee done yet, but it's obviously drawing to a close. I still have posts to make for myself in there. I have to say, though, it was a simple operation, but everyone went with it and created other dynamics and events that just made that event so much bigger than was intended. So great job, everyone! <3

The plot will be updated accordingly with the progression of the war.

If anyone did sign up for Skirmishes, I feel the need to remind you guys once again that the purpose of that thread was to just get the ball rolling and give you guys some ideas. But it's up to you guys to actually thread the stuff out. (: And you aren't limited to doing things about the war to those skirmishes and mass threads. If you have other ideas for situations, go for it!



What a terrible title. But I feel the need to talk about this with you all. I know that this is a roleplay and it's fun and creative, but sometimes I think that people aren't quite aware of the where the line is when it comes to mary-sue-ing and power-playing. Do know that there are consequences for the actions of your characters. And also that they can't just go around doing things without getting caught. At least, not without sacrifice. For instance, Voldemort didn't kill all of those people and be able to walk around in broad daylight down Diagon Alley whenever he wanted. He was in hiding and had to do his actions in secret. So if you do go around doing things that would logically easily get caught, then you will be. You can still be creative and have fun without being omniscient or immune to any consequence for actions without sacrifice.



I think there's one round left and even though the term is over, we'll still be finishing the one we have going on still. (:



Once the school year starts, the clubs will also be getting up as well. (: I encourage everyone to participate in the meetings. It's a great way to meet other characters all at once. And to the Club Leaders: I encourage you to try to make them interesting (not just all introduction meetings). Just like in classes, they're more fun when the professors get into it quicker or in a more interesting and less typical way (more interactive, etc.).

Also a reminder that you get Sickles at the end of the year for participating in clubs. (:



The deadlines for exams, OWLs and NEWTs were over a month ago. Very soon, the final OWL & NEWT grades will be added into the thread (they were graded a couple of weeks ago, but just didn't make it into the thread yet because I couldn't add the House Points at the time and they have to go hand in hand or they'll be forgotten, lol). Anyway, they will be added soon and the buttons will be made soon and will go up in this board. (: But regardless of the results, really great work, everyone, on all of the OWLs & NEWTs! It's really time consuming to grade, but also quite a lot of fun to read them all. (:

* For a weekend in December, Hogwarts is inviting all the other schools to come to Hogwarts for the weekend for mingling, meeting and a dance. (: More information will be posted about this when the time comes closer.
