It's been Twenty-Three years since Lord Voldemort was killed by the Boy Who Lived and everything is calm. For those at Hogwarts the war is over and now is a time of peace. While the West wasn't hit as badly during Voldemort's reign it has since been the target of many attacks. The Salem Witches Institute has begun it's decent into darkness and there may be no coming back.
A new evil has begun to surface. Students are being recruited, muggle-borns are being killed, and the fight against blood purity is far from over. Someone has taken up the mantle that Lord Voldemort left behind and has moved across the pond. Harry Potter is no longer the chosen one and no prophecy has turned up proclaiming a savior. It is up to those at the Salem Institute to figure out and defeat this new foe - who will be brave enough? Who can stand up against an enemy just as terrifying as He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Name?
Anyone could be fighting for blood purity and what the students fear most is about to come true. Someone on the inside is working against them - a teacher, a friend, the headmistress? They don't know - but they know they must stop whoever it is from destroying the school and starting a second great war that could finally bring the Wizarding World to its knees. How can you protect yourself and the ones you love when you don't know who to trust?
Headmistress Proctor knows her students will take sides and that her teachers are all suspect. In the eyes of those around her she see's their suspicion. They question if she could be in line with the new Dark Lord and she has no answer for them when her own dark secrets hold her in a tight vice. All she can do now is try and balance keeping her students safe, teach them everything they need to know, and on top of all that host the next Tri-Wizard Tournament for the first time at the Salem Witches Institute.
With Hogwarts and Beauxbaton students arriving at the mansion and the school now overflowing with students the threat of attach is even greater. The students of the Salem Witches Institute can only hope that their brother & sister schools will stick with them if a battle does ensue.
