With the recent upheaval rocking the Clave and stemming from the New York Institute, the young Shadowhunters of Chicago are under twice as much pressure to uphold their reputations, especially since their own Institute is maintained by yet another branch of the quickly-growing-infamous Lightwood family. But keeping up appearances is harder than it looks, especially with untold secrets, the whispers of rebellion, forbidden romances, and the winds of change blowing on an ancient society that doesn't welcome it.
