It's that time again. The October newsletter is here! I will be updating this thread all month with all the new events for the Triwizard Tournament, etc., so make sure to read it! Instead of having a billion announcements, I really think it is easier to just have everything in here. (:
NEW YEAR NEW YEAR NEW YEAR --
It's a new year at Hogwarts [or will be soon]. If you find a list that has your year inaccurately or it's inaccurate in your profile, please send me a PM. <3 Prefects have been chosen and Quidditch has been suspended. So if you sign up for Quidditch, it will be for the following year [so don't sign up if you're a seventh year now (:]. <3 Also, don't forget to post here if you want to move up a year. <3
MASS THREADS MASS THREADS MASS THREADS --
We will be having many mass threads throughout the year [World Cup, Goblet of Fire, Yule Ball, all the tasks, etc.]. And every time you make a post in a mass thread, you will get house points! (: Depending on how long your post is, you can get more house points [so if you make a 1000 word post, you'll get many more house points than if you make a 200 word post. It's only fair <3]. So keep your eyes out for the threads. They'll be announcements and will be an easy way for you to get to plotting with others and roleplaying, while keeping up with the main plots. (: <3
WIZARDING SCHOOLS WIZARDING SCHOOLS --
There are five of them [Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, Durmstrang, Firenze, Xanadu], but only three of them will be participating in the Triwizard Tournament. However, all schools and adults as well will be able to come and watch the Triwizard tasks. Though Firenze and Xanadu students will not be able to attend the Yule Ball. <3

I know it's about part way into October, but we have some new OF THE MONTHS and some news about our anniversary which is coming up in a few days. (:

Christina may be new, but she's a great new addition to TB. (: She's already starting to plot with lots of people with her first character, Pansy, and is really getting active here. We're glad that you're here, Christina. =D <3
Neville's been here a lot longer, but it's great to see his threads as well. Whether it's with Hannah or even in the mass thread, it's great to see how Neville is developing and growing up. (: <3
Kate is also relatively new, but also very active around the board. You'll usually see her in the chat box or even trying to plot with others. It's great how she's tried to get people to play more canons [that her Terry would be friends with, mostly]. Usually we're lacking in canons and mostly have original characters, but I think things are starting to turn around. (: <3 And on that note, this is the first time that all canons have won the OTM awards! =o <3

ANNIVERSARY COMING UP! <3
It's not here yet, but on October 14, 2006, we'll be celebrating our fourth year anniversary. (: We will be having a few events for you, but right now, we're just telling you about it and that we'll be having lots of activities for everyone all week and it may last a couple of weeks, even. (: The skin will be changing a little bit too, but it won't be anything too drastic. (: So look out for our anniversary events coming very soon! The features are just the start of it. [: <3
