First of all, I'd like to apologize for my lack of activity lately. Due to exams and everything else that's complicated in my life [like trying to get a bank loan to buy my dance studio, etc.], I have been a little MIA. However, summer is upon us! And I'd love to see us thrive again like we used to. (: We're going to be implimenting a few changes. Nothing that will really affect you or your roleplaying. More like us staff members updating things more frequently and keeping this place always updated and active. (:
NEWSLETTER --
We haven't had this in the past. Ever. But I think that it's a good idea. Every month or so, we'll post a newsletter with any events, in and out of character. All the 'of the month' winners will be posted there [along with the awards, and yes, we are going to be doing that more frequently now! <3]. Any activity checks and other ooc announcements will also be in the newsletter. There will also be a section about the plot and anything that's going on that's huge about any of the characters here. So if you have some news to share [something like getting married, getting turned into a vampire.. something big. not just, oh sally held hands with her boyfriend! any big events would be better (:], just PM The Daily Prophet with your news. <3
ACTIVITY CHECK --
Yes, we will be having one very soon! I think it's about time again. (: So make sure you post it in before the due date, otherwise your account will be deleted. ): However, it's easy to sign up again and we don't delete the old applications. We simply move them into the archives. So it's easy to get it back or even find it so you can fill it out easily again. (:
STAFF SEARCH --
Yes, we are looking for one more staff member to join our team! We are looking for an Advertising Moderator. This person would be required to post at least thirty (30) advertisements a month [that's only one per day! (:] and would also be able to help with any site wide events. There is always room to be promoted within our staff team, so if you show initiative and activity, you could be promoted to Global Moderator and then even Admin in the future. (:
