WANNA KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON? READ BELOW.
because we've always got those people [new and old]
who are too lazy to read the plot or possibly can't find it
or may be don't even understand it, that's why this thread
is here! after reading everything below [and especially the
'in a nutshell' explanation], if you still have any questions
just post them below. <3
THE PLOT IN A NUTSHELL!
THE WRAP UP (WHAT HAS HAPPENED) --
the death eaters? still there. their leader? gone.
she fled the country for reasons unknown and now
the death eaters find themselves leaderless. why
did she do it? no one knows and no one cares, to
be frank. but their affect isn't just flying out the window
just yet. not that everyone agreed with their ways, but
quite a lot did. the laws are still in place [muggleborns
and half-breeds are currently enemies of the state and
are therefore not welcome in public places and espec-
ially not hogwarts].
CURRENT HAPPENINGS (THE PLOT, RIGHT NOW!) --
the death eaters are still in the ministry and hogwarts,
carrying out their beliefs just because the laws do allow
for that sort of thing right now. and until someone can
come in and take over the ministry / hogwarts, that isn't
going to change. and this time, there isn't any harry potter
to save the day. but there is something worse happening
in england. there is a fatal sickness going around, only
affecting wizards. people are dying, mainly in england.
there have been three seers thus far, having visions about
this pandemic. the first one was killed for fear of her telling
everyone her secret and causing panic and chaos. the
second one is still alive and the third one had a vision
about the wizards who would one day discover the cure
to the sickness.
WHAT YOU CAN DO!
FOUR GENIUSES
if you want your student to be one of the future geniuses
who discover the cure to the sickness, please PM me.
you will need to be quite active (as they won't discover
it for a few more years). they may start trying to research
ways to cure it in about a year. and it would be even better
if you have a good motivation for them to want to discover
the cure. (; also,
they must be smart (of course -- but this doesn't mean
they have to be in ravenclaw, of course) and a fourth or
fifth year currently.
ALL YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT THE SICKNESS!
so there is no confusion, this is where all the rules of
what it does, who it affects, etc., are right here.
-- it is about 90% fatal. therefore, you will most likely die
if you get it, but there is a chance you will survive. there
will be a sign-up like thread where you can request to
have the sickness, etc. but most likely, it would be easier
to roleplay NPC people who get it and die [like may be
your characters' friends or family, etc].
-- common symptoms: memory loss, dizziness, head-
aches, nausea, high fever, hallucinations, random
outbursts of magic (common to what happens to younger
wizards when they are first starting out, but even less
controllable, depending on how far along the sickness is).
-- purebloods who get the sickness are affected worse
(in general) than half-bloods. muggleborns and squibs
are affected the least and muggles never get the sickness.
however, even though (statistically), purebloods are affected
worse, half-bloods, muggleborns and squibs can still die
from the sickness and do quite often. this just means that
it's very rare for a pureblood to get the sickness and survive.
-- some general rules...
if you want to have the sickness, you must sign up for it
(in this thread).
you cannot be one of the geniuses or seers unless given
permission. otherwise, it would get very confusing.
there will be a small lottery of people who will get chosen
and then must have the sickness, though they will not die
[it would be unfair to force anyone to have their character
die, of course <3]. this is because in real life, you obviously
can't choose to have a sickness. it's all random and fate,
really. <3
IF YOU HAVE ANY FURTHER QUESTIONS, PLEASE POST THEM BELOW. <3
