Megatron has escaped! In hot pursuit, Optimus Prime and his Autobot team - now members of the Elite Guard - have returned to Detroit in hot pursuit. But upon their return, they find things have changed. Anti-Autobot sentiments have grown during a period in which the Autobots and humanity are attempting to create an alliance. Can they bring peace among the species while also bringing Megatron to justice?



Meanwhile, on Cybertron, Ultra Magnus, having recovered from his assasination attempt, has announced he is stepping down. With Magnus elections heating up, the search for a successor is on! Who will wield the legendary Magnus Hammer, and will it be for better or worse?
