Whilst an unspeakable in the midst of the hustling school of Hogwarts was a rare encounter, it was exactly what Rafe found himself doing. Work had become less challenging over the years and he wanted to try and take on a different role completely. With that being said, Rafe found himself walking through the Great Hall of Hogwarts once more. The very same Great Hall he once completed his studies, ate and fought people in. The Unspeakable wanted to see what Hogwarts was like again as he considered applying for a new role at Hogwarts knowing that his role as an Unspeakable may be useful to some students who wish to follow down the same pathway. He did know that the current Headmistress of the school was a former unspeakable so there was evidence that a transition from ministry work to education was possible. He waited near the podium for her to arrive to discuss the options available.

Eliza had a meeting with a potential new professor. It was always a rough job finding appropriate candidates for the position. She also didn't expect to every have to fill the job of Muggle Studies professor. She was glad that Morgan was back teaching, though, after his brief stint off the payroll. But now he was teaching a different class.
Rafe wasn't her first interview and she assumed he wouldn't be the last. Eliza knew of his job at the Ministry, if only from the tell-tale signs of secrecy that she had to give. Of course, to Eliza, he was able to disclose his position at the Ministry, but she knew he would not be able to talk about it. That was fine. She worked in the same position years ago, so she had a good sense of what he was doing there. Even if she didn't know the exact projects, that didn't matter.
She was curious why he would apply for this particular position, though. Someone with his talents would be better suited for Charms, Transfiguration, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Alchemy... Muggle Studies didn't require any magical prowess. Just a love for muggles.
Eliza knew about his past, though, and that did not give her faith that he loved muggles. However, perhaps he loved muggle technology. After all, Unspeakables often were inventing things for the government. And while he was known to her as an associate in Mortenero, that was over 12 years ago. As much as they did not get along, Lilith proved to be a valuable asset to Hogwarts. Rafe could very well by the same.
Someone had gotten Eliza to tell her that Rafe was already there in the Great Hall. Someone had let him in. She walked down from her office to the Great Hall, which took a few minutes, and found him near the head table.
"Is it how you remember?" she asked him as she walked down the main aisle towards the head table. It had probably been quite a while since he had been at Hogwarts. Eliza held out her hand. "I trust your journey was smooth." He probably just apparated from London to Hogsmeade and walked over, but there was still the walk from Hogsmeade to Hogwarts. It wasn't exactly instantaneous.
"Let's walk to my office," Eliza said as she indicated for Rafe to walk beside her as they exited the Great Hall. It was seven floors up, but that would give her some time to get to know him.
The students roaring around him made him question if a career change was even worth it in the first place. He enjoyed what he did as an unspeakable but there was possibly more out there in the world then building things in secret that he wouldn't even be able to share even if he wanted too. The secrecy of the role made it difficult to celebrate wins and success in his role.
As his eyes scanned the room around him, he noticed the very same educational establishment he had one learned in hadn't changed too much. It still had the cosy feeling it would provide in the Great Hall and the Castle was still as busy as it was during his own time. He hadn't gotten this close to the Head Table in quite some time and seeing it close up made him visualise seeing himself seated where the Muggle Studies would normally dine.
'' It's exactly how I remembered." He replied to the voice almost instantly as he viewed his surroundings before turning around to see none other than the Headmistress and former Unspeakable herself. " Professor Eliza Marie Cunningham in the flesh." He responded bowing his head out of respect.
" The journey here was rather enjoyable if anything. " If you consider multiple horse back carriages and a train an enjoyable ride. " Please lead the way Professor." He said offering his uniquely charming smile. " How have you been?" He asked trying his hardest to generate some small talk in-between their walk.
