It was Sunday. Eliza didn't really have any days off, but at least it was a little quieter so Octavio could take care of Hogwarts for a few hours while Eliza went to the village. Her apartment was there, though she was really thinking she should get a small house in the village instead. There was just always so much to do and moving took a lot of time as well. And that was time that Eliza just didn't have. Maybe she could think about it during the summer, though.
Eliza wrote to Ginny asking her to meet at the apartment at around 3PM for tea. It was after lunch, but she had some snacks set out as well - mini sandwiches and pastries.
Eliza was cleaning up around the kitchen, waiting for Ginny to arrive. She hoped nothing would stop Ginny from being there. Her work sometimes had her travel around to get reports on various Quidditch games being played around the country. But Eliza hadn't seen Ginny in so long, it felt like, and they really needed to catch up. She missed her friend.

Ginny got her friend's note and got ready. Then once she was ready she walked out of her house. Then Ginny headed to see Eliza, her friend, whom shd hadn't deen in a while. She was glad that her friend sent her the note with the owl about meeting as she planned already to write her herself. Yet, since Eliza had already wrote her about meeting with her, it meant Ginny didn't need to do that, which made it easier. Or at least that was what she thought, anyway. Ginny tried not to think of that as she was glad that she could see see her best friend, finally. As she truly missed her and hoped to see her again, soon. For Ginny it felt like forever that they hadn't seen each other. Even if it wasn't like 50 or so years, thanfully but it was still far to long. For Ginny at least it was. She had a feeling that it was the same for Eliza to. It wouldn't suprise Ginny if it was the case. She had a feeling that it probably was the case. Ginny had a feeling that it was why she wrote her about meeting in her apartment in the first place. She definitely wasn't surprised that it would be the case. It seemed to Ginny that it was indeed the case.
Shs tried not to think of that as she made her way over. She tried to avoid bumping into anyone or anything as she made her way over. It took Ginny sometimes to get there as she used a different routin than she would normally take. She just hoped that she won't be too late or anything like that. Ginny didn't want her friend to wait too long or anything like that. That was why she did the best that she could to hurry up but at the same time she continued to be as careful as possible. Ginny tried not to think of that as she hoped for the best.
She couldn't wait to see her friend again. This catching up meeting was way overdue. At least as far as far as Ginny was concerned it definitely was way overdue. However, the plus side was that they were meeting again, so there was that. Which was better than nothing. Which was exactly what Ginny thought as well as believed, at least. Since for her it was the truth. As Ginny thought and believed as well that it was the same thing for Eliza too. She was completely sure by that. Ginny tried not to think of that either, as she made her way over. She eventually got to Eliza's apartment. Then Ginny knocked on it and after that, she waited for her friend to open her. She hoped that it was the right time and that she wasn't late or anything like that at all. Ginny shook her head to those thoughts as she hoped for the best.
