Professor Channing seemed to be in a mood. Calling out the booksmart kids right from the start? Ouch. She could almost feel the indignation around her. Maybe getting their heads dunked in water would cool them off. Maybe, that was the professor's plan. Annoy them so much that they fail their charm and end up with a mouth full of water. Nothing would surprise her.

Knowing the charms they would be practicing, Orla chose to style her hair in a bun. She had no interest in getting her hair wet or frizzy. Plus, she didn't trust her head of house not to try to drown them all. With her hair out of the way, she wouldn't have to worry about her hair getting ruined. Her own skills would keep her from drowning in front of her classmates. She'd survived her years at Hogwarts putting herself first. That wasn't about to change now that she was of legal age.
