The lost lives have been reclaimed and everyone is trying to find their place in a world that has moved on without them. It's 2025, aliens exist and there's a great, uncertain multiverse out there to explore.

The New Avengers has formed with Sam Wilson as its leader--now formally known as Captain America--and their base of operation is the Avengers Mansion. And our fellow mutants? With both Magneto and Charles Xavier finally succumbing to old age, the mutant population seems to have reached stepping off point. In their memory, both Genosha and Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters live on.
