We're updating the skills claim to being 10 levels. It's how I wanted it originally but I was't sure if it was too much. But it's clearly necessary because there's a HUGE difference between a 21 year old 3 years out of school and Dumbledore level.

It will take a while to transfer over, so please be patient.

NEW LEVELS:
Level 1 - currently studying in school
Level 2 - owl achieved (currently 6th or 7th year)
Level 3 - newt achieved: A or E
Level 4 - newt achieved: O
Level 5 - have used it in their job for 3+ years
Level 6 - have used it in their job for 5+ years
Level 7 - have used it in their job for 10+ years
Level 8 - have used it in their job for 20+ years << one of the best in the country
Level 9 - have used it in their job for 30+ years << one of the best in europe
Level 10 - one of the best in the world (50+ yrs old) << dumbledore level

We will be transferring over as the following:

Level 1 > Level 1
Level 2 > Level 3
Level 3 > Level 4
Level 4 > Level 5
Level 5 > Level 7

For anyone with level 4 or 5 skills, you may need to re-claim just to fix it up, since Level 4 could be anywhere in between Level 5-9 now (though for most just between 5-7).

Just a reminder that this is NOT a way to try and claim and make your character all powerful for no reason. It is a way to show people who are reading your profile how skilled your character actually is in roleplay. Therefore, if you have an adult and are claiming anything above level 3, it must be stuff that your character is actually doing.

Also please keep in mind that this is a general guideline for maximums. It's more likely that your character will have a lower skill. Just because they've done something for 20+ years doesn't mean they're one of the best in the country at it.
