"Robert, wait up!" Sarah hurried after her best friend, stopping briefly as she caught a glimpse of the most beautiful girl she'd ever seen - one of the French witches to arrive the day before for the Triwizard Tournament. Swallowing hard, she scurried up to the Ravenclaw boy, adjusting the slightly too short for comfort skirt of her steampunk costume. "Come on, let's get trick-or-treating!"
Holding her hat on her head with one hand and looping her other arm through Rob's, the eleven-year-old bounced slightly as she started down one of the decorated halls hunting down professors handing out candy. "Trick-or-treat!"
Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans made their way into her bucket, followed by a chocolate frog. She got ice mice and sugar quills (that one came with a wink) and sherbert lemons from the Headmaster. Once her bucket was full of candy, she dragged Rob off towards the chilly courtyard.
"Candy trading time!" she announced. There were few people she'd be so forward with, but she and Robert just clicked. They'd had a rough start that had involved a mutual detention, but once everything had settled they'd realized they'd had more in common than they did differences. "Now ... I don't suppose you'll take Bertie Bott's for a Fizzing Whizbee?"

With Max as her Big Bad Wolf, Maisie was dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood, the scarlet of her hood standing out against the bleached white of her skin and hair. She cut a dramatic figure of a little girl lost in the woods.
Letting Max lead her along with the crowd of trick-or-treaters, they stopped at the first door. "Trick-or-treat!' she said, holding the harness on her 'wolf' with one hand and holding out the bucket with the other, looking up at the blur of a professor with a smile on her cherubic face.
She felt something be dropped in her bucket, and murmured a thank you. Moving on to the next door, she let Max lead the way. He was very good at trick-or-treating.

Greggy had dressed up as a super hero. She was super girl because....she was super. Duh. Skipping along easily, she was swinging her bucket full of candy without too much trouble. Pausing at a professor's door, she knocked easily. "Trick or treat!" She was chipper about the whole ordeal. Even if she wasn't with one of her friends, she was beyond thrilled to be out and about.
She paused looking at some other people she knew. "Oh my gosh. I love your costumes!" She was sort of sad that she was on her own while these people were in a group. Maybe she could join them? Super girl worked with other people, right? It wasn't like that would be too against the norm. She just needed to play it cool and go trick or treating more.

Honestly, York wasn't sure about this. Ana had made him dress up and then somehow a professor had talked him into helping out. He was walking with some first year students. Something about making sure the first years were safe and made it from stop to stop. But he didn't care too much about it. Instead he mostly found himself whining to himself that he'd rather be doing anything else.
Seeing a first year start to wander off, he pulled out his wand and pulled the student over and back into the group. He glared at the kid who just sort of gave him a sheepish look. "Go knock on the classroom door." He stated, keeping his eyes narrowed at the other student. He wanted this to be done.
When the kid didn't move, York stepped forward and knocked on the door. "Trick or treat." And he stepped back and pushed the kid forward. There. He'd done his part.

Her first Halloween at Hogwarts was to be honest an amazing experience so far. Her sister who was a year ahead of her had told her all about trick or treating at Hogwarts. Dominique’s bright blue eyes widened as she saw just how elaborate Hogwarts was for trick or treating. Dom’s small stature stood in the doorway of the first Professor’s classroom. Her princess dress dragged the halls. Dom normally did not participate in group activities, but candy was life. So, as she stood in the doorway she smiled, “Trick or treat!” She smiled as she heard the box of Bertie bott’s hit the bottom of her pillowcase.
As she walked towards the stairs to get to the next set of Professors, she smiled gently thinking about everything. As she reached the top the stairs began to move. Dom help on tight and when they reached the stopping point she quickly scurried up to the platform before they moved again. Lightly Dom walked down the corridor smiling looking for her next destination. It never came, instead she found a dark corridor and a locked door. Gently freaking out internally she turned and walked the direction she had come before making it to the stairs again.
Walking lightly on to the top stair of the steps down she sighed waiting on it to move again. Smiling brightly, she continued her trek up bound to forget the incident ever happened to begin with. But what was behind that locked door?
