We've got some awards here as well as some updates on what's going to be happening next term and what's upcoming for the rest of this term.

Bailey is always a friendly face to talk to, plot with or roleplay with. Any time she's in the c-box, it's a breath of fresh air. Plus, all her posts are great too! Congrats, Bailey. <3


Xandra won by doing her regular staff duties (which is 75/month) and over 2x her advertising duties (which is 15/month). Congrats! <3


Desmond has a bunch of characters and they are all so unique and well thought out. Not to mention, he's very active with all of them. It's great to see all of his new threads and posts with them. Congrats, Desmond. <3


Marjorie is a professor but that's not all she does. She has a lot going on personally and has a lot of great threads going on. Congrats, Beth. <3


Can't really say congrats too much without feeling weird about it, lol. But after a hiatus of exactly one year (to the day - I seriously did not plan that, lol), AJ is back and lots of unexpected threads/plots (like a first year shadow?!), so thank you for that, you guys. <3


Jordan is new but they already have lots of threads and plots going on. It's great to read them all and see what else Jordan will cook up in the future. (: Congrats! <3

end of term

It's coming up fast! In about 3 weeks, exams will go up. If you haven't been through this before, it's pretty easy. It's just multiple choice and all questions are from the lessons or the Spells List on site. But it is required in order for your character to move up a year (or graduate if they're currently a seventh year) so keep an eye out. They'll be open for 2 weeks.

next term

Next term, the Dodecawizard Tournament will be hosted in Dahshur, the Egyptian Wizarding School. The attending schools are Hogwarts, Durmstrang, Beauxbatons, Firenze, Salem and of course Dahshur.

Each school has 2 Champions compete for a total of 12 Champions. Everyone aged 16+ by October 31st, 2014 will be going to Dahshur during next term. Fifth years who are of age can stay behind if they want but they can't change their mind later. All sixth and seventh years will be going, however.

If you want to play a Champion, keep in mind that we currently have a lot more Hogwarts students of those ages so the odds are better if you make someone from another school. You can enter more than one person but each writer/member will only get 1 Champion actually chosen.

The tournament will start around October real time. (:
