So Eddie was bullied as a child and plot wise will be in Hogwarts somewhat. This anger helps to not only drive him to suceed but also to make him well dark ish in nature. So if possible maybe color wise that could be reflected? Not sure! 

Also it should be noted Eddie grew up in an orphanage so it wouldn't be realistic him wearing a bunch of dress shirts or something.
