Excitement, fear, and nervousness fought for the primary emotion within Natasha Kane. She had just gotten on a train that supposedly took her to a place of magic called Hogwarts. Real-life magic. Even though it'd been a while since she had received her letter, it was still shocking to think that she, a normal eleven year old, could be a witch. Even as she walked the cobblestone streets of Diagon Alley a few weeks prior, she was overwhelmed by it all.
As the train continued forward, the station out of sight by now, Nat sat alone in a large train compartment. She was accompanied only by her cat, a Russian Blue named Aura, that jumped from seat to seat as she explored. As the cat jumped Nat sat on her knees as she peered out of the window at the quickly passing scenery. It was beautiful yet terrifying. She'd never been away from home for more than a couple of days and now she was going to be gone a full school semester. However, the more she thought about being gone, the more she thought about the school. The more she thought about the school, the more excited she began to feel once more. The pig-tailed red head grinned, looking away from the window to look at Aura, who had stopped jumping and returned the gaze with light blue eyes.
"I'm a witch, you know," she said aloud to the cat, who tilted her head in response. "A real one, too. Who knew?" she giggled at the subtle rhyme, getting up from her seat and kneeling down in front of Aura. She pet the cat as she continued talking. "Aren't you excited? A whole new place to explore. A whole new... lots of stuff." As she spoke, the train took a small turn, causing Nat to fall to the side suddenly. Aura kept her spot as Nat giggled on the ground. Excitement had won the war within Nat, now consuming her the more she thought about what awaited. And what awaited was definitely something to giggle on the ground about.

There. The deed was done. The exchange was made. AJ turned to head off to his dorm for the night when he heard the girl's voice ask him a question. He turned around mid step. "You... Don't know?" The whole time he was serious, but now he let out a laugh. "You just bought something and you don't even know what it is?" He was still laughing. But also quite happy about her ignorance as it meant she would probably easily buy from him again. "Well, it's a candy and you suck on it. It'll make you hover a little," he explained. He thought she would have known that. Oh, well. At least she knew now and he already had the money. "It's actually not bad," he added honestly. He did enjoy them from time to time, though he preferred to sell them than eat them, so he could save up for something much better than candy. He wasn't sure what yet, but he was sure he could find something much more valuable than a few sweets.
