Emerald didn’t think she would be talking about Olivia to anyone, and now here she was.. sitting in a stranger’s house who fixed her up and talking about her dead girlfriend. Sure she had many panic attacks where she thought back of the night when she found Olivia but she was in the home of someone else and she honestly could not afford to break down right here, right now. Emerald eyed Cameo who started talking and she just raised a brow at his comments. It’s not like she hasn’t heard those words before. ”I know how you feel. I lost someone too.” but truth be told it all felt different.
Losing a parent was different than losing the person you wanting to marry, wanting to spend your life with because she could. The person she loved and lost because that person killed herself. Emerald took a deep breath and sighed. “Sorry about your father.” She said with a slight crack in her own voice. She got cast out by her family.. she lost everyone that day. “If they died in peace.. most likely yes.” She said and sighed. “Olivia didn’t just die.. she overdosed.. she wanted to die and its my fault.” Emerald said and felt tears in her eyes.
“D-do you have hot chocolate?” she asked when Cameo offered a beverage. Emerald didn’t want to burden this guy with her drama but he was the first person she told in many years. For some reason even now it hurts. Emerald let out a sigh and sat back. She screwed up big time and she never meant to do so. Perhaps the guy would come out of the kitchen with a shotgun and shoot her on the spot. Sure a wand works and magic is what people use in her world but you got to admit that a shotgun would work very well.
Emerald eyed the clock and just waited for Cameo to return. She didn’t want to go into a place filled with more weapons than a couch. She wouldn’t get hurt much from a pillow. Was she being paranoid? Would the guy who saved her ass chop her up on a couch next? Maybe she should have said no to those horror movie marathons with her brothers when she was still home. Maybe she should give this guy a chance.. got to trust someone eventually right?

Giovanna felt the dew slash the bottom of her pants. She continued to stride along the lawns and found herself at the lake. Giovanna just arrived there. She didn't plan it. It was very cold, but Giovanna took off her jacket and placed it on the ground. She sat on it and looked out across the lake. She wasn't thinking. She wasn't contemplating. She definitely wasn't taking in the scenery. Giovanna didn't care for such things. They were simple minded and time wasters. It just so happened that Giovanna was facing in the direction of the lake. The fact that it was there had no affect on her.
