Welcome to TB, an all levels Harry Potter roleplay with no word count. Our purpose is to go through the books with one exception: the addition of original characters and what changes that makes.
We accept all beings and creatures in the Harry Potter verse including ghosts, veela, muggles and even centaur.
We have many active events ongoing for both students and adults and many characters and locations around the world.
Come join us and discover how your character can grow and evolve in the world of Harry Potter.

I asked this in the c-box earlier, but then I realized this board was here and figured I may get an answer quicker this way. I've been involved with three different Harry Potter RPs in the past, and each time they had different ways of handling time. In my first RP experience, we covered an entire school year at Hogwarts in six months. On my second site, we did it in three. Finally, on my third site, the years were done in real-time, meaning that Christmas in the real world coincided with Christmas in the Harry Potter world.
I haven't been able to find any information on how that's done here. I'm very interested in this site, because I love how up-to-date the plot is, how involved everyone can be in the plot, and how this site is non-discriminatory toward different skill levels (a reason I left the last site, actually. I don't think it's fair to remove a member just because they can't write 1,000 words every post, and I saw that happening way too often). However, I did love the year-round approach. I'm not saying that would make or break my decision to join, but it is something I would like to know going in.
Thanks to whoever answers this, and I hope to RP with you soon!

Not that it makes a huge difference, but sometimes its 5.5 months, lol, if we fast track through summer (one week each summer month instead of two). Also on that note, thats how it technically is - 2 real weeks = 1 roleplaying month.
We also actually used to do between 1.5-3 months but that felt a little too fast, so we slowed it way down to 5-6, lol.
