Tuesday September 14th, 1996.
I went to Arithmancy today, and of course, who was there? Draco. I know I haven't written in here for a while -- not like I ever did since I got this a few years ago -- but may be I'll write why it's not good that I saw Draco.
Well, we were together for probably about four years or so. And then, suddenly, we broke up. It was kind of surprising, actually. Things were going great -- not like they were in our fourth year. I've gotta say, the Yule Ball somehow saved everything, though it's not like that matters now.
So now this year it's kinda strange. Our friends were, well, our friends. And most of them are friends with Draco's parents and such and of course hang out with him over the girl from Italia. Sure, my parents are in the same circle as their parents, but not for as long.
So now, I'm just waiting until I leave for the United States. I'm not quite sure where I'll go, but I don't care anymore. For a while I tried to figure out how to stay here, but I'd rather leave now. There's no point in staying here anymore and I completely refuse to trust or grow attached to anyone here. There's nothing left for me here now and I'd might as well leave tomorrow.

Thursday April 27th, 2000.
Wow, it's been a hella long time since I've written in here. Well, here's a little catch up. At the end of that year, the Death Eaters attacked Hogwarts and my father brought me along with them. Draco also came, but we didn't speak. It's odd reading my above entry, because things are a lot different with him and I now. We were young and immature then, but now we've gotten over whatever went through between us.
I went with my father to the United States to recruit Death Eaters because the Dark Lord wanted to branch off from just in England. After that summer, I came back to England. I learned a lot of new things over there and I definitely matured very quickly compared to what would have happened if I had stayed at Hogwarts. I'm glad I left, especially since I had nothing to stay for anymore.
The next year, I did my Death Eater duties, being loyal to the Dark Lord and all... I'm sure that I would sound more enthousiastic about it all, but from what happened last summer, I just can't anymore. Anyway, Lare and I attacked Diagon Alley together. Oh, how I wish I hadn't been paired up with him... Well, that went fairly well. What I mean is that I did well. Lare was... Well, he was young. He definitely wasn't ready to be a true Death Eater. I swear he only joined just to be one and not to actually follow the Dark Lord's beliefs. That spring, he somehow passed on... I don't know what happened, but I'm glad he's not around to pretend to be a Death Eater anymore.
That summer, the big war finally arrived. I was sure that we would win. After all, how could little Potter actually defeat the Dark Lord? However, somehow he did and everything went downhill from there. I killed someone, though I won't say who because obviously I don't trust this journal from not getting into the wrong hands. However, everyone knows that I did kill someone already. I just won't say who.
So, on to the more recent things. I've really just been randomly travelling around Italy. I went to England to see Draco recently, but now I'm back on the run. I can't stay in one place for too long, but I'll have to say that our visit was interesting. We had hated each other and not been able to trust each other for the longest time, but now I think things are okay. Of course, the fact that I can only see him every now and then makes it a little easier not to get too close to him. Let's just say that, for the moment anyway, things are neutral. We understand each other and we both feel the same way about life. May be it's only one thing we have in common, but at least we have that. We are both feeling the consequences of choosing the path of a Death Eater and losing in the battle last summer and neither of us regret it.

December 18, 2001.
Things seem to be relatively the same, really. I'm still on the run with barely any items with me, but it's a good thing that magic can conceal things and make things a different size than they actually are. If I couldn't do that, and bring my little pouch with me, I would barely have anything with me, but I barely keep anything with me anyway. I rely on the places I go, and recently I've made a new ally.
I recently met Kienmayer von Tepes on the Hogwarts grounds. I really don't know why I was there, but I suppose it was fate that brought us together. I don't know how much I can trust him, but I know that for the momen, at least, I can. He's planning something big, something that I can't write down here, and I'm going to be a part of it. At least it's better than running around like a dog from the Ministry. No, those days are long over, or at least they will be soon. Soon I'll have my life back again.
