Dueling championship delayed

Today the National Dueling League has decided that due to the Ministry cutting it's staff, they would delay the dueling championship that was due to happen at the start of next month. The head of the dueling league did say this was due to the fact that he wanted to make sure that everyone got a fair shot. Given the fact that the Ministry laid off some employees that the head of the NDL did say were 'excellent possibly duelists' it has been decided to push back the start of the dueling championship as they see if any of these former Ministry employees would like to join the championship.
The current line up did have Gino Amadori, Natasha Volkov, and Julio Soli, and a few underdogs. But the head of the NDL did say that anyone who is a former Ministry employee can sign up to join in the championship before they start the championship. So far they have said that the possible new date for the championship will be the end of November. That means the deadline to apply to be in the championship will be the end of October.

Unemployment and Mass Migration! Written by Markus Falls
When it comes to things like the recent changes with the Ministry of Magic, it's times like now when we look at the unemployment rate. For the first time in a very long time, the British have the highest unemployment rate in the wizarding world. It helps that a lot of capable wizards have recently lost their jobs. Some have decided against staying around and seeing if they'll be allowed back to their former job.
Instead now we've been seeing a boom in people migrating out of the country. It seems like Italy is a popular choice among wizards, the second most popular one being Russia. Wizards have always liked staying close to each other, for security. But without jobs, they're unable to feed their families and the job changes does help a lot.
The two things combined have left officials scrambling to try to hide the numbers and pretend like things are okay.
