Hogsmeade is back!
Written by Rodrick DiSilva In June, there was a huge battle in Hogsmeade. This, everyone knows. Some people survived and others did not. The world changed. However, thankfully we have been able to heal and grow. Out of the shops that were damaged, Phoenix Rising and Dervish and Banges have finally started welcoming people back into their doors. People have stated that they are thankful for the shops coming back.
So far the only shop that has been unable to be repaired has been Frost Worlds of Wands. It took the most damage from the battle and the owners have moved on. For right now, nothing is known about what will to become of the space where their shop once was. And that's okay.
Hogwarts will be allowing students to go to Hogsmeade over the breaks again. So please remember, all is well.

Durmstrang in ruins.

Durmstrang has been one of the safest places in Norway. However towards the end of the year, that safety was taken away. A terrorist destroyed a good chuck of the school. While motives are still unclear it is assumed it has something to do with the curriculum. Why would that be assumed? The main areas off the attack were the Dark Arts classroom and the dueling area as well.
For right now, all former teachers are being brought in to talk to. The rebuilding process has already started and a new curriculum is being considered. Students will receive their letters and schedules slightly later then usual due to the school debating making any changes. However, everything will be figured out by the time the new year starts.
