Cyrus has always aspirated to become a great healer. While he took a step back from St. Mungo to Hogwarts, he found that this was something he wanted to do. It was a fresh start but helping the students and staff of Hogwarts with their health means a lot to Cyrus. Especially since he once was there as a student and fascinated the talent the healer had in his time.
Personal Aspirations:
Cyrus had been heartbroken before, and that actually closed himself for love. Not accepting it very well. He would be happy to find the love he deserves. Even with children, if that was going to be the case in the future.
Family:
Relationship with Parents: Cyrus always had a good bond with his parents. Even if he decided to travel and later returning to St. Mungo to work there. Now that he is starting his journey at Hogwarts, he would see his parents less, but they always support him no matter what.

*Blood Purism
While Cyrus is a pureblood by nature, he never got really into the Blood Purism. Nor did his parents. Blood status never was a thing for him. Now as being the healer he especially doesn't care. It would be terrible to only help those that are pureblood and the rest not. No, Cyrus doesn't like it at all.
*Muggles
Cyrus has been traveling the world after graduating from Hogwarts. There he went to different towns and places. He met muggles that showed him how they helped people that were sick. He also saw many different muggle items. That always had fascinated him. His uncle was a wizard, but had a garage in the muggle world. It always brings back the memory to him.
*The Sorting Hat
The day he joined Hogwarts was a tough one. His uncle had shopped his stuff with him, but afterward the news came that Kane had passed away in a car crash. It was a hard moment for Cyrus, but he eventually went to it. The sorting hat is a great process that looked deeply into the person. It was a surprise that the sorting hat said Ravenclaw. The same house that Kane, his uncle, had. It was a great moment to hear it.
*The Ministry
Cyrus has good thoughts about the Ministry. Ever since he was little, he heard the stories of his father. How his department was actually helping around the magical world. It was interesting, and it gave some respect for Cyrus to them.
*Herbology
One of the best classes he liked and enjoyed. Working with herbs and seeing the benefit of them. It was interesting, and he wanted to learn more of it.

Things has changed so much for Cyrus Ironroot lately. His life he lived was something he was proud of. It started a few years ago, a very long time ago, some would say 36 years ago. His father William and his mother Jennifer were both happy and living in Southport. His father worked in the ministry at the department of confiscated items, and his mother was a nurse. She worked 3 days in a week when she got Cyrus on a cold night in July. Being the only child, Alaric had a great life, spending time with his father, mother and his uncle. His uncle was a wizard just as his father and mother, but his uncle worked as a car seller in the muggle world, even if the Ironroot family didn't like that.
The thoughts of his uncle would always make tears appear on the face of Cyrus. How he missed his uncle so much. The last day he has seen him was when he was at the age of 11. Just before he went to Hogwarts. Cyrus and Kane shopped for his stuff, and later Kane brought him home. It was not a few minutes later, the news struck that Kane passed away in a car crash. The news hit hard, and it made Cyrus not wanting to go to Hogwarts, but eventually his parents told him he should go. Doing it for Kane, he headed to Hogwarts. It was a surprise that he didn't get into the house where his mother or his father was in, but he got into the house of his uncle. Ravenclaw.
The years at the school were great for him. Walking around the corridors, spending time with his friends. The subjects he was great in were DADA, Charms, Potions and Herbology. His love for the spells and the practice made him a great student. While he knew his spells, it was different from taking care of Creatures or even History of Magic. Those stuff never interested him, but he was okay in them. While he loved spending time with his friends and the occasional flirting ladies, he wasn't always with them. When he wasn't there, he was in the library reading or making his homework. Yes, Cyrus was a "nerd" who liked to be around books, learn new things with spells and herbs and even be around with friends. In his third school year the attack on Hermione Granger happened. There was so much chaos going around that Cyrus ended up in the Hospital Wing with a few others. After recovering, he was happy to see how the Healer had done their work to get everyone back up and running. Something that gave Cyrus a spark to know what he wanted to do. Eventually, one girl broke his heart when he was in his 6th year. The exams were coming and he felt terrible. He got played and that did give him a so-called bite. He eventually passed his exams with pressure of his friends to continue.
When Cyrus in all those years learned about the dueling club, he could try to test himself. He was a decent dueler, not that great, but he could manage to protect himself in a fight and even fight back. At the last year and getting his exams, he graduated with flying colors. His highest score he could get was in Charms, after that came Herbology, Potions and Muggle Studies. His essay on cars was for the professor a great view in his eyes. All he knew from his uncle Kane.
Just before Graduation, the news came as a shock that the Minister has been assasinated. His father always talked with much respect about the man. So when the news came that Harry Potter had murdered him was sad to hear for Cyrus. It was a shock that he had the guts to do it. He never understood what had happened, but there was clearly something behind it. After Graduation, and with the events that had happened Cyrus knew what he wanted and decided to travel for a bit. Wanting to find out about the many different healing methods in the world. The different forms of herbs, spells and medical healing. There were so many things that he learned while staying away from all the events that might have happened at England. He had been in the tutoring of a Chinese medicine man that showed him unique ways to use herbs. There was a shaman priest in Africa that seemed to had some methods and of course the muggles that showed the instruments they use.
After a few years of traveling and learning the new ways, he decided to return to England. Back to his family and taking a job at St. Mungo. He started as a trainee in the Spell damage ward back in 2010. There he enjoyed his time. Seeing and using the knowledge he had gathered over the world, but also learning from the best people that were teaching there. It was a few years later that he went to another department. The Potions and Plant Poisoning department. Also learning there a few things. Having learned many different things in both departments, Cyrus made another step. Leaving the department and becoming a Multi ward healer. Making sure that he was helping different departments as much as possible. He enjoyed those days and working with his mother at St. Mungo was also nice.
Keeping in contact with his friends, he eventually heard of the position opening at Hogwarts of Healer. Something that he was good at and with the experience with his travels and work at St. Mungo he applied for it. He wanted to be a help for those that needed it, just like he had been helped back in the school years. He made sure he was qualified for it, as he applied for it.

The soft ring of the bell echoed through the halls as it seemed to have been time again. The class was dismissed, and that meant that Cyrus had his free time and period. The students were all done with his classes and he enjoyed how they were loving it. DADA wasn't always the easiest subject for the students. Especially when it came to the dark creatures and spells. Boggarts, Poltergeists and Dementors. Everything had a reason and if they could beat their fear or those creatures that actually live on fear, then things were going to be easier for them. He promised that. Alaric was glad he was walking around the corridors now. Especially since he had been a student before.
Cyrus was a strict man, but he also knew when he had to take care of those that needed it. Some were struggling with DADA, and they could use that extra help. So taking the corner to the Library. He entered it. He greeted the librarian as he smiled. Not only that, but he knew exactly where to go and what he needed. Those that needed the extra study and help, he was getting the right book for it. Something that had triggered his enthusiasm when he was a student. Most textbooks were complicated and others were easy. For DADA, everything seemed to have been written in that textbook, but this book was totally better. So, making his way to the shelf, he headed through the many books. Looking for his book as, he found something else. It was a Muggle book with the title To kill a Mockingbird. He wondered what the story was about as he opened it, starting to read it.
