TIME: Middle of May
It was a clear, spring day, and fairly warm out. It was time for the Championship game which meant that everyone would be attending. It would determine who won the Quidditch Cup for the next term and the winner of that would have quite a leg up for the House Cup too with all the points it would bring.
Once everyone was loudly cheering in the stands, the players came out onto the Pitch. The Captains shook hands as always, as tense as they were about it, and then took a step back to prepare. The referee released the balls and blew the whistle, signaling the players to mount their brooms and start the game. They all went off into a blur of blue and green as they went to their positions or started to try and get the Quaffle. Everyone had something to do as all of the positions were quite different and all of the players were very focused towards victory. There was no room for error in this game.

It was the championship game and Arielle's final year at Hogwarts. She wanted to do well and she wanted her team to do well too. She felt bad that Pippa didn't get to the championship game but she was glad she didn't have to play against her. She could just focus on the game.
Arielle reached out and grabbed the Quaffle quickly, holding it under her arm as she zoomed off towards the goal posts.

Apinya wasn't playing in the game but she did want to cheer on Levi. She walked down with Chatri and found a seat with him, carrying a Ravenclaw banner. They found a seat near the front of their section so Apinya could tape the banner to the railing in front of them, rather than having to hold it up the whole time. She hoped Ravenclaw would do well.

Roxanne was excited for the final match. She wasn't very into the game herself, but it was always an exciting event and she liked to see her friends do well and also hang out with other frirnds in the stands. Two of her closest friends were playing against each other unfortunately, so Roxanne had to cheer for both of them! She hoped they both did well and had fun out there. But she also hoped they'd stay safe. Hospital trips were never fun.

Liam wasn't really into Quidditch. Sports weren't his thing. His brother loved sports but he was long graduated now. Still, it was an exciting time and his final year, so he didn't want to miss it.
Liam brought his sketchpad with him. He couldn't sketch every game because usually it was pretty chilly in the November and March games. But it was pretty warm today. Maybe he could sketch something neat. He sat down and took out his pad and pencils and started sketching Arielle flying towards the hoops.
(Open to interaction - feel free to interrupt lol)

It was all coming to a close. Soon enough, the brunette would be out of Hogwarts and out in the real world. The concept still scared her a bit but she was relieved for a game of quidditch. The game itself was always a great stress relief. It took her mind from its spiral Asha forced her to focus. Repeating to herself that she had this. One more snitch and then she’d be moving on to bigger snitches. Floating high in the sky with the rest of her team. She gave a caring and trusting eye to every single person she could make eye contact with before she was in position. Waiting for the match to really set off but most importantly. Her eyes were waiting for that snitch.

Against his will, Will was back on the Quidditch pitch. He was hovering next to his goals, hoping no one would come near him. Maybe he'd get lucky and his chasers would be able to keep the quaffle going at Ravenclaw. He really didn't want to even try today. Soon he'd quit Quidditch.

Pepper was more then happy to kick up and be in the air. She was waiting to see when the bludgers would be heading towards her team or when she could spot someone on the other team to hit with the bludger. Either way, she was ready. This was going to be one of the best games. She could feel it.
Post by SAINT SOLTI on Dec 1, 2022 17:03:20 GMT -5
Slytherin already had the quaffle. Which was so fast and annoying. So there was only one thing Saint could do. Finding a bludger was easy, sending it at the older Slytherin was even easier. Hopefully Lakin was nearby and could steal the quaffle. She had hopes, after all.
Post by GREER GREGORY on Dec 1, 2022 17:05:09 GMT -5
Not being in the championship hurt. Greer had plopped down next to her best friend and laid her head on his shoulder. "I'm glad you never got into playing Quidditch. I think it saved our friendship." As bitter as she was about the loss, she was still going to root for Ravenclaw. After all, the loss would hurt less if she thought of it as losing to a championship level team.
Post by SCORPIUS MALFOY on Dec 1, 2022 22:35:28 GMT -5
As captain of the Slytherin team, Scorpius was pleased that they had reached the Championship. He expected nothing less. A couple of his best players were graduating and he would need to fill those roles. That was a later worry though as the game started in earnest. He saw the bludger hurtling towards Arielle and intercepted it.

Eliza was in the stands with the rest of the faculty and students watching the game. She enjoyed watching these games and seeing the students doing their best. She knew that some would go on to be professionals and she wished them all the best, knowing just how steep the curve was after graduation. It was quite different, playing professionally compared to the House league at Hogwarts. But she knew that some of them would be great at it. Others only played for fun and that was okay too. They didn't all have to go pro.
At the moment, it looked like Slytherin had the Quaffle. Arielle, specifically. Eliza didn't want to show any favouritism, but she hoped that Arielle would do well. She knew that Ginny would be proud and took a mental note to reach out for her for tea soon, now that she wasn't a fugitive anymore.

Liam chuckled pretty loudly for him. If he had been eating something, he definitely would have spat it out. "You say that like it was a possibility! Me? Never." Greer knew that, of course, but it was a good joke anyway. "That's Jonas, not me." There was such an age difference that it never really came up but Liam wondered if Greer would get along with Jonas more than him. He didn't want to think such insecure thoughts, though, so he pushed that out of his mind before he focused on it.
He tried to focus on his drawing more now. He was onto his second drawing, of Scorpius hitting the Bludger with his bat. It was quite an interesting angle that he chose for it, with the bat almost coming off the page. He supposed that was possible with magic, but that was something he could try out later if he wanted to. Right now he just wanted to do some sketching. Liam usually disliked drawing people, but trying to capture them in action and not caring too much about the result actually was kind of fun.
Post by CHATRI DAENG on Dec 2, 2022 1:19:22 GMT -5
Chatri followed Apinya into the stands and sat down on a seat next to her. He helped her tape the large Ravenclaw banner onto the railing. “Looks like it’ll be a good match, I hope he wins.” They both knew he was talking about Levi. Chatri had no idea what a good match looked like, but he was looking forward to cheering in the stands along with everyone else. APINYA SAENGMAI

So this was it. The final game, the championship the one game that Levi had always looked forward too. He knew his opponents this round would play more fiercely and he wanted to ensure that he would do his part to help his team mates considering his role as a seeker was just one thing. " Best of luck everyone!" He greeted his team before doing loops around the field while smiling at those in the crowd.
