I want to start off by saying that I want to buy candles of all of your character smells. When do you start selling those? (: Also - hi! I'm Meli. I'm slowly trying to reacquaint myself with the site and all of its wonderful people. I've only two little doves for now, so let me know your thoughts:
AMÉLIE CADIEUX | DANIEL FOWELL I peeped him in Channing's Charms class and he doesn't hold back, does he? I love it. I think he and Amelié would make delightful frienemies. I can see her disliking his character overall, and the way in which he approaches things, but I also think there would be some respect there as he is clever and intellectual and she respects those who are similar in that sense. Perhaps there is a bit of rivalry here, not sure, but I can just see them playing cat and mouse.
AMÉLIE CADIEUX | @aster Total end of the personality spectrum with Aster and her shy qualities, I can see Amelié being neighborly and welcoming to her, especially as she is a younger Ravenclaw. She also knows how to spot someone facing their own internal demons, such as herself, so perhaps she Aster can come to her if she ever needs a friend, pep talk, morale support, etc. <3
BRIAR EMERSON | AMOS SILVER I am truthfully unsure of how to get her acclimated back into society and the wizarding world in general as she's spent the past few years on the run and in isolation/hiding. She does love tea, though, and where better to get any but Madam Puddifoot's? I can imagine her just being this brooding, dark figure that pops in from time to time who seldom speaks, and he, perhaps, works a little at a time to get her to open up. With his eye for details, I also wonder if he'd spend time (when spotting her, of course) coming up with these vivid, insane ideas in his head of who she could possibly be/what her story is/etc. One day she'd likely just approach him and say, "What's with the crazy eyes?" Not sure - let me know what you think!

DANIEL FOWELL & AMÉLIE CADIEUX: Oh, I can totally see frienemies there! He is very good at being frienemies with people, because he is how he is. He is a bit of a prick, but also quite smart... Haha, I like the idea of them being rivals too.
@aster & AMÉLIE CADIEUX: First of all, Aster will be extremely intimidated because Amelie is an older student. But she is not a boy, so it won't be so bad. I would love it if their friendship would slowly develop with Aster trusting her more and more... And in time, she would maybe become like a sister to her?
AMOS SILVER & BRIAR EMERSON: Oh hell yes. He already has an image of her: "Probably a dark witch or a werewolf or a thief." He might have asked her if she wanted coffee instead of tea, because coffee is a better fit for her. Bahaha, he will totally eye Briar and maybe even be a bit scared of her?
@balt & BRIAR EMERSON: Now these two would somehow get along, both being shady people. Balthazar is shady in the typical blood purist sense, although he has a habit of getting into trouble, because he is a bit of a wildcard in the polished purist society. He is a member of the anonymous though. What about Briar?
Yes, yes, yes. I'll start working on this in the Charms thread, or perhaps make mention of it if he's in the Quidditch Club. Irony is not lost on her that she is club leader, but doesn't play herself. Let's get snippy xD
Yes, precisely! I imagine this being a slow, organic growth (because if nothing else, Amelié is tenacious, if slightly annoying in her need for love and friendship), and eventually that sisterly vibe can develop. I love all of it.
I don't know if she's ever truthfully dabbled with coffee ... interested to see if caffeine effects her at all, but I'm excited for the vibes of this, nonetheless! I'll have to make a thread today once work settles.
BRIAR EMERSON | @balt This is the one I evil-cackled at most. So, she definitely has dark/brooding vibes and a lot of that has to do with her past and how she's built this wall to protect herself from people in general. People let you down, don't you know? But at her core, she truly does have good instilled in her and morals and wants to see the good in people. It just takes her so long to get there. He may be a fun, toxic presence for her. I mean that in the sense that their personalities would likely instantly click, but with his allegiance to Anonymous (she had been tortured by the former leader and that leaves a very bitter taste in her mouth), and hers to Liberamach, these two would likely be the souls that shouldn't have an ally/acquaintance-ship but do. He may try to sway her, not sure, to be a mixed bag. I don't see her abandoning her roots, but I do think this could take her down an even deeper dark path before she gets her bearings about her. LOVE this, thank you for suggesting!

DANIEL FOWELL & AMÉLIE CADIEUX Oh, no he is not in any clubs. Honestly, he does not care much for quidditch. He just likes the sport and the exercise. But it will be fun, and I love how they already have this kind of frienemyship going on in the group threads.
@balt & BRIAR EMERSON Alright, I am moving the idea for a thread over here, because it sounds like lots of drama can develop between these two. While Amos/Briar can always wait :-D And Balthazar needs more threads, because he currently only has classes. It would be so fun if the two of them clicked - personality-wise, BUT slowly learning that the other belongs to those specific groups. That could put their blossoming whatever-it-is to a test. Balthazar does not really make friends, but he would probably favour her, and if stuff develops in the future with the anonymous rising, it could be interesting to see how his morals have changed if Briar suddenly becomes the enemy.

BRIAR EMERSON | @balt Everything you are saying sings to me. She’s much the same. She has one, true, honest friend. It’s hard for her to form bonds or things like that just because of how she’s shaped herself to be. If she does get on with someone, it’s usually just not as rough or direct conversation. She cares about people. She does. She just doesn’t trust people and that makes it hard for her to take that next step into friendship. Yes, I’m happy to start threading them and getting that going. Blurred lines make for fun plots. (;

BRIAR EMERSON Yay, I really like this! I just saw your starter and will reply soon :-D Can't wait to get these two going, because I think it will be an interesting plot to develop.
Balt/Meagan- We already talked about this a little bit, but class rivals/enemies who were in the same house (canonically a muggleborn Slytherin) because she is a morally righteous mudblood..She taught as well but I can see it was before he moved back to Scotland from your bio thread, but current students of yours might recall her as the Associate DADA Professor 2019-2021 but she was npc for the rest of her contract. Now she's an auror trainee in the newly independent Scottish Govt.

MEAGAN DONAHUE - Yeah, I can totally see these two being rivals in school. He would have called her a mudblood and picked on her a lot, because she was placed in Slytherin. But at some point (maybe in 6'th year), Balthazar would have stopped caring and focused on quidditch instead :-)
DANIEL FOWELL & AIDEN PINE I see both characters have a lot in common, perhaps they could be buddies? Being muggleborn, Quidditch players, similar ages and the like. Although, I did notice that Daniel can toe the line of bullying, so depending on development opportunity, maybe Aiden could become a 'good influence' in that regard? I'm not sure if you see it as something to work on, or as a negative trait, but if so then perhaps Aiden can help Daniel to see bullying isn't always the best option?

AIDEN PINE - Oh, I would love for Daniel to have another friend, and Aiden is really perfect. He can totally be a good influence too. Daniel will not end up as a bully. He will calm down when he gets older, so it fits so well with his development if he has someone that can push him in that direction. Should we have a thread?
